What I think is that mc killed that demon lord and took its form. I mean in episode where demon lord and all the other demon army generals? were having a meeting they were talking lile that demon lord replaced the old one pretty recently and what we see is 15 years ago and she was demon lord back then as well, mc taking that form after killing the old demon lord kinda makes sense. Maybe I'm tripping.

BTW, the labyrinth guide who refused to help Schlain was the same dude you saw on episode 6. It's a neat callback even for anime-onlies. He was helping Julius and his party.

This is just me but wouldn´t it make more sence if "Mother" called for help from the Demon Lord since she is the Original Taratect and from what I see she has no real defence against the paralell minds so she called for help, but that´s just me..

BTW the guide who DID help Schlain, was the guide for the team of humans that first discovered the Nightmare of the Labyrinth (Kumoko) ~15 years back. This team was not shown in the anime. This is a LN detail.

It does. This one little "rebellious" spider is killing anyone she sends to retrieve her, too fast and nimble to hit with her own attacks, and is attacking her mentally. Obviously this "brat" is too much for her, so it makes sense to call upon her own superior to deal with her "problem child".

Or is she a great great great grandma. As it says she is a original spider and ancient divine beast. She might have been alive when they showed those fast flashbacks to a goddess being cruficied and the world started to collapse.
