Trust the process because you guys are in for a wild ride. This show is really good. The only spoiler I can give is that the immaturity won't last much longer. The streets have a funny way of forcing one to grow up really fast. If it helps, I have a lot of experience... um knowing somebody, who knows somebody, who knew somebody in the streets. LOL. If you guys need clarification on something, I can explain it in a way that will not give spoilers. To help explain Franklin and his friend's immature decision-making, you guys have to remember that this is taking place in 1980 before the crack epidemic. They have absolutely no blueprint for slanging aside from what they see on TV. Right now they are getting fronted keys, selling the brick, or breaking it into quarters and selling it. No nickel and diming right now. Up until now, moving weight was something only the mafia and gangs did with the Columbians. During this time, those keys were used by executives and rich kids. Slanging coke in the hood was not a thing so they are making it up as they go. However, Franklin is fearless and wise beyond his years. His character is realistic and the way he networks to make connections is how it was done. Unlike today, where shoot first ask questions later is the trend, doing that back then was really dangerous. If you shoot the wrong person, a civil war could break out. It's interesting watching you guys react to this based on our current environment and your life experiences. Back then, things were really different and people did the craziest things to get where they needed to go. Most of those things would cost a life in our current environment.

It's good to catch on to why Franklin doesn't want advice from Claudia, Jerome or the other dude. None of them have any idea what Franklin is truly after in life. They just think he is kid that's wants to make money on the streets. But Franklin is highly intelligent. He knows he could have just went to college and landed a good job but its not money he is after. Its power. The only person Franklin has really listens to so far is Avi. That's why their advice is somewhat useless. Because none of them have experience the path Franklin is going down.

So the Mexican fighting in the backyard it might be weird, but the traditional Mexican style of fighting is leading with your head protecting your chin and not running away from punches like that’s the idea of boxing. I know it could look weird and stuff like that but when you have that idea as the background, it explains their little bit of wrestling because he’s a wrestler and a little bit of punching because of the style of boxing most Hispanics respect only that style of boxing/fighting
