My problem is not that she got upset about Mark's lies and flakiness. My problem is that they made it that she knew his secret but kept quiet about it and then acted like she didn't know during that college incident and then got mad for him for "ditching" them when shit was going down. The only way that makes sense is that she purposefully sat on this to get mad about it and blew up at him when she knew the truth, which is just a petty thing to do.

I know I'm a little late to this post but I think I finally get the 'issue' with Amber other than the raceswapping backlash. I think they just constantly present her as super mature and even the tone she uses when she talks to Mark feels a little condensending like the way an adult talks to a child. So when she doesn't react maturally at the end of season 1 it rubs you the wrong way when it feels like both the show and amber herself have designated her the 'mature one'
