Couple things I will say in advance before I watch this: • Warning you now that they overplay the hell out of the soundtrack, but I hope it doesn’t make you enjoy the show less 😭 • The visuals / cinematography in this are very surreal and fantasy-based so when it comes to analyzing and theories please don’t worry too much about taking things literally!

They’ll do a lot of…hm, fantasy realism in this show? I don’t know a good term for it — like the visual representation of the publisher acting out the text messages, random sound effects, in-show editing…that’s even outside of all the storybook stuff, and you kinda just have to roll with it lol. Also, as soon as they do a big pause and start playing still grabs from earlier in the episode you’re free to turn it off, those are just the end credits!

It's the most satisfying roller-coaster of a Kdrama I have seen. I also think they handle the mental and emotional sides of things very well.

Funny thing is, I *can* actually leave a song on repeat, especially if it’s background noise for writing or thinking or w/e. But repeating snippets of ballads constantly doesn’t work for me—and I do think there are times when it downplays focus on the actual dialogue or acting.

Sountrack is usually what either makes the kdrama or it kinda makes the show lame. To me at least the songs in kdrama is one of the main appeals.

Actually it is. And I went and watched a few more episodes just to confirm. But the female lead (not the actor, the actual character) annoys me to no end. The rest is ok but for me personally not living up to all this hype. So I’m dropping the show. No biggie.
