Yep I looked it up too really fits with Shizuka’s fantasy story book. in my opinion I think it was a good choice as they probably knew about how it’s being used as a slang term and put it in there so people could also have a laugh at it for that too.

The cause for Rentaro's constent rejection was because of the mistake god made, so he was meant to be single till star of highschool, yet every confession before that was truly and honestly filled with love that never got reciprocated. 2. The reason he convinces them instead of telling them they'll die instead is well, imagine your life being tied to someone you just met one time but want no interest in love, it'll feel like a hostage situation.
