2023-10-24 01:31:44 Thought episode 1 was okay, 2 and 3 were good and I went on to read further on in the manga. It's pretty solid, going to be a lot of cool scenes animated in the future. I think it'll end up being one of the top of the season for sure, along with Frieren and JJK. Thanks for the reaction.

Also, the anime doesn't really explain it at all, but the underwater explosion was a volcano going off. That's what the long trail of bubbles he sees while swimming underwater came from. No clue how they expected anyone to figure out that from the animation though

So there's a reason she said there was nothing in space except the sun and moon. Cause if you look back there actually aren't any stars anywhere in the sky in any scene.

The obvious secret technique to learn what negators negate when they aren't supposed to be a twist is to look at what they constantly reference when talking. Manga authors just can't help themselves with the puns.

So quick hint for gena her ability is hinted during her dialogue with fuuko . Also lupa was on the right track at the beginning of the reaction when he said “just the void” no celestial body’s apart the sun , moon and earth exist .

The explosion underwater was a volcano, the bubbles I didn't get that hint at first but the ash and lightning gave it away, ALSO idk if anyone noticed but last episode they showed that they were on a demolition site early in the epidsode. This show is so damn dope with all the hints that seem meaningless until after the unluck actually happens.

Seems like there are straight up just no stars or other planets in this universe. I thought what she said was weird, so I went back and watched the first section of the episode and she's right. Just satelite debris surrounding the earth, nothing else but the moon, sun and earth

Some of the ones down the line are super obvious, as a lot(nearly all) of Negator’s names take syllables from what their negation word is. Unavoidable’s legal name was literally Void.

As a manga reader I’m watching a lot of reactions to this episode specifically because no one seems to be taking it seriously. The manga chapter actually caused a lot of discussion and theory crafting, but I guess not having a panel bigger than the others showing that the sky literally has no stars is causing people to not register how weird it is

I think it's that in general, people take stars being in space for granted, so we generally just assume and don't think about it. It's also pretty unexpected. I don't even remember if I noticed the first time reading the manga myself. I'm really looking forward to the reactions the plot twists that get revealed in the anime.

Well the comments have made it obvious what Gena's ability is called but I only have a small idea as to how the name can apply. It'll be interesting to watch and see if I'm right as to what exactly her power does. I'm still trying to figure out what Shen's ability would be called though. Don't think it's untouchable. It seems like his ability is to make you do the opposite of what you want to do (Fuko tried to run towards Andy but instead ran backwards into Shen. Andy tried to kick Shen with his right leg but kicked with his left instead) and he said his ability works on the psyche. So maybe something like unable or unintentional??

Shen's power is actually pretty easy to figure out if you think about it like this: Someone tells you they will do one thing, but then they do the opposite. What did that person do?

The scar on the head is a blade that he put there. It seems to block memories because he removes it when he gets serious. He actually does this in ep 1 and says that he feels too much and puts it back in.
