Already can tell Stark will be a favorite of mine in this show. He's a friendly guy and now after beating a dragon by himself has enough confidence to probably face most things to come.

What I like about adding Stark to the journey too is he didn't grow up with Frieren so he's much more blunt about the passage of time. Like when Frieren said him living in the village for 3 years wasn't a long time and he said 'the heck it isn't'. Fern has never really said anything like that to Frieren aside from the time with them looking for flowers for Himmel's statue but even then she told the old lady that her frustration was because she felt someone with Frieren's power shouldn't be wasting her time doing this. She's never mentioned anything in regards to her own life.

Nahh, Fern can't just call my mans small and then be all buddy buddy with him since he can navigate a town better than her. She better apologize quick! On a real note, really loving this anime. Has the same kind of magic feeling that Violet Evergarden gave me. I'm scared though because there have been hints of depressing stuff already, and I'm waiting for it to start getting really sad.

My whole thing is why didn't the dragon just bounce. Even during the fight he could've flew off because frieren said they couldn't match his speed. Oh well Saitama I mean escanor No stark sorry gave him that high top fade so alls well ends well I guess.

That's kind of the point of the show. It's a journey where Frieren will eventually come to understand that, as she travels the same path as her first adventure with the Hero's party. It's not going to happen overnight, even more so for her since that's like a blip in her perception of time.
