This talk with Oikura is for me still among the best vocal performances in the show. Marina Inoue gave a terrific performance as her voice actress!

Heartwarming ep. People already noted, but the range of Sodachi’s VA really is crazy. Wish I understood Japanese so I could understand which words/phrases are being stressed/softened. Thank you for the reaction.

Hers and sengoku are the only 2 girls where him existing is like a literal poison to them, and man I feel like her story is so overshadowed by sengoku

How she belittles her own problems, how used she is to being in the deepest pit of hell that a normal happiness is enough to make her feel like she wanted to die, how her only method of surviving is just to crouch at a corner and just brace herself for all her misfortunes. And if that doesn't hit hard enough, BRO THE VOICE ACTING, sodachi's VA does more popular characters in other more mainstream series... but this has got to be her best performance yet.

hey guys this is off topic, but I just finished watching all of Fate with them and I was wondering if anyone knew why they didn't react to anything beyond what they currently watched? I heard people say Apocrypha was good and I've seen some scenes from grand order so I was just wondering why they stopped where they did now?

Oh man. This Sodachi Oikura story is as dark as I remember. And we're not even finished yet. I low-key think there's a bit of a cultural narrative here too. From what I know, it's kinda ingrained into Japanese culture that their people have a tendency to keep to themselves. For as far as they could take it, they don't want to bother people with their own problems. They'd rather bottle it up without complaining. So it's like, I feel like that's somehow part of the reason Sodachi never out-right asked for help. Basically finding a roundabout way to have Araragi help her without feeling like she actively dumped a huge responsibility on him by directly asking him. Instead, just leaving clues in hopes that Araragi would volunteer the help.

Its pretty clear that she is unstable and broken as a person and she copes with it by putting the blame on Araragi for the things that happened to her, obviously unjustly but things that were happening to her were also unjust so you cant really blame her for developing that mentality,, it doesnt mean its correct but you can understand why it happened.

Hey, roshi, lupa-san, and Sherra. I love all of your guys' reactions. I was wondering if guys could consider reacting to "RWBY" It's one of my favorite shows of all time. And for any of the RWBY fans in the comments who are higher-tier patrons let's try to get a poll going that would be amazing. Also, now hear me out but I would also like it if you guys could react to MLP too. It's not a bad show and shows that have as crazy of a fan base as MLP isn't just for show something about the show is good(all of it). But that's just me putting my thoughts out there. I know at least that Lupa has already watched volumes 1-3 but stopped there due to Montys passing. I asked him on stream around when the anime adaptation came out. And truth be told it just wasn't the same after volume 3, the quality went down until volume 7 and 8 and back down with vol 9

Mans been asking this for a while. And yea, it just isn't good after volume 3 lol between monty passing and RT falling apart over the years. It didn't hold up. So I wouldnt hold my breath for a reaction brother

Not sure if you guys picked up on it after the fact but the scene with Oikura and her bruised cheek was from when Senjougahara punched Oikura in the face after Oikura slapped her. The joke was that as Oikura voiced the possibility of pressing charges against Senjougahara, Araragi and Hanekawa immediately plotted to prevent that. I dunno what Hanekawa was doing but Araragi healed her bruise as you picked up on. (Senjougahara was also fearful of the backlash of knocking Oikura out, and is why she faked falling unconscious and did not return to school the following day)

But: 1 - the swelling was from Senjou punching her. 2 - It disappeared cause Araragi rubbed his blood on it, same as he did for Hanekaea in Neko when her dad hit her. (Never mind you caught that) 3 - There was a new op in these last 2 episodes you skipped

NisiOisiN protagonist are just generally amazing. Araragi is great and all, but you should check out another series of his named zaregoto, which genuinely has the best protagonist I've ever seen by a long shot. Sadly, the anime only adapted the first book, I highly recommend reading the ln though, at least till vol 2.
