Question, can I start watching this show from the first episode and understand what’s going on? Ik this show is kinda like Fate and there’s a bunch of branched shows and it all connects. I wanna watch but don’t know where to begin.

It will be pointless as 90% of what’s happening won’t hit or you’ll flat out miss all type of references to people or events that happened. First timers get recommended to watch the release order of monogatari. Just google it and you’ll know where to start

Just watch the duo reactions. They started from the beginning. Someone posted the watch order below. It's a goateed show. Kind of hard to follow at first because there's so much dialogue but you get used to the pacing pretty quickly.

There's a new opening for this arc by the way. Whilst it might seem like one big arc, it is split into Ougi Formula (2 episodes), Sodachi Riddle (2 episodes), and Sodachi Lost (3 episodes), each of which have their own opening, meaning there's a total of three openings.

Sadly it is what it is, its impossible to expect that you'll be able to follow EVERYTHING that happened, since the timeline is so jumbled up with details that are seperated 5 seasons apart and depending on how long you spent watching it, could be days weeks and months. So my advice, just follow Amvdere's list and just slowly start watching. You'll miss some things, you won't be able to follow some dialogues, but if you were able to latch into what is happening wether or not you understand it, you'll start to slowly piece everything together, make up your own interpretations of certain scenes and dialogues, and it'll be all worth it

Hey, roshi, lupa-san, and Sherra. I love all of your guys' reactions. I was wondering if guys could consider reacting to "RWBY" It's one of my favorite shows of all time. And for any of the RWBY fans in the comments who are higher-tier patrons let's try to get a poll going that would be amazing. Also, now hear me out but I would also like it if you guys could react to MLP too. It's not a bad show and shows that have as crazy of a fan base as MLP isn't just for show something about the show is good(all of it). But that's just me putting my thoughts out there. Whether you do or not won't make me stop watching your guy's content at all.

part of the fun in this series is trying to figure it out, I always rec release order...including kizu (shaft knew it was delayed and added extra stuff not in the LN to tease us actually finally figuring out wtf happened with ragi and shinobu)
