I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of this season until the last 2-3 episodes. I’m hoping that since all the set up of these new characters is done for the most part the next season will be better. I’m glad you guys are enjoying it though! Your reactions are always a treat

bleach

Next episode is crazy

Kingmakaii

Bitch really is a god she on a whole different level who tf has the power to block out the sun 😭

Victor

The Abbot is too delusional to be saved. He really thought God delivered Maria to him. Like who do you think you are, Abraham? Erzsebet is not your god and Maria is no damn ram.

Brooksdagoat

Forgemasters must be almost extinct or somethin cause the abbot sucks at it. Never saw any rebel nigh creatures from hector or issac either that or they were literally the 2 strongest alive at the time

Deonte Hall

This season is definitely giving me Castlevania season 1 vibes. It's just the setup to something bigger on the horizon.

Kingmakaii

Nah he turned the moon red she literally blocked out the sun she a different type power im not even finna lie 😭

Spriggz

I think the Dragon comment was taken too literally. What I think she means is that she needs to keep tabs on where her powerful fighters are, Dragons just being a way to describe them.

ThatOneGuy

I would’ve die In front of ersabet cause of my logic. Literally me answering if you were a god you wouldn’t need all this planning and protection bitch what. Would’ve died but I would never stop clowning her ass lmao

Henderson C

Drolta has the best design out of all characters in both Castlevania series. That transformation !!!

Dyastro

THATS WHAT IM SAYING. Loke for a GOD she surrrre does feel like a mortal.

Dyastro

Well i would be more concerned if the abbot was actually GOOD at it

ThatOneGuy

Right it’s not like you need to hide during a day or you turn into powder

KeYo

oh gosh an eclipse! all the night creatures roaming free again! its dracula all over again!!!! heeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Anonymous

We'll see which direction the show goes but I am sure she is lying. She needs followers and many royals in the past claimed their closeness to divinity to maintain power.

ThatOneGuy

I think it’s a bit more literal then that since orlox fits the description of the Quetzalcoatl which is considered a dragon

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

NovaVortex

Erzebet coming out of a final fantasy game cover art. Hard Yoshitaka Amano vibes.

Ricky F

Portable Capri Sun 😂🤣

Stanley Labissiere

"Flameo Hotman" really left an impression on Roshi XD

Kevin

Exactly I think it was also her way of showing she’s well informed because she knows about Orlox’s abilities.

Anonymous

i respect it cause i would of said the same shit and also get clapped 💀

Adamantite Momon

Elizabeth would've to move around the globe cause ain't no way moon can create eternal darkness over the whole planet

John Cedar

Because what they're doing looks like it's inherently different than what Isaac or Hector did: they are leaving the same souls in their original bodies, it's like they never went to the afterlife at all to be pulled back. Forgemasters in the previous show always pulled an older soul from hell to put into a husk of a body, except for the Bishop they used to turn the riverbank holy in Braila. My first instinct is that a soul that has spent hundreds of years in hell is a lot more broken and therefore easy to manipulate vs. a human soul that is still clinging onto life because they just died. I think the demon who Olrox mentioned has an ulterior motive for giving this machine to the Abbot and will be a big part of future seasons.

2023-10-16 23:29:27 I'm trying to figure out how Erzsebet got the blood of a god. I looked her up and this is apparently new info, people said she was Dracula's niece in one of the games, but that doesn't translate to the show. The writers might write themselves into a corner if they don't have a good explanation on how some random Vampire, before the time of Dracula, became a goddess. Where was she during the events of the first show? Surely she would've came to the gathering if all the most powerful vampires were showing up to aid Dracula. Drolta said she was a priestess of Sekmhet, so maybe she pulled a set-up.

John Cedar

There's no indication she's as old as Dracula's old court, though she might be. What makes you think she drank the blood before the original events of Castlevania? It seems to me she's done this fairly recently. There's also no indication that she even acquired the blood from this timeline or this plane of existence. Remember that the Infinite Corridor exists and there's a lot of rogue magic and science to this universe that we don't understand at all. They have barely delved into how the afterlife works or if Dracula peered into the Infinite Corridor to acquire things like electricity, teleportation, etc. The writers have a lot to play with. And she is clearly full of herself, I absolutely do not believe her when she says she's some ancient Egyptian goddess. She's a Russian vampire that found some very powerful ritual to steal power from the divine, I think.

Bona Fide

I loved the reality with Annette just being glad he's back. This is my 2nd fav episode. I saw right through that Abbot in every thing

Bona Fide

John just gave me some things to think about. I'm going to have fun theorizing

Notnotblasian

I'm surprised nobody is asking where tf is Dracula because he def is still alive lol

Ale

He went to finish him off again. Plus Im pretty sure Dracula never turned his wife into a vampire, so when she died, he died with her. Dude was so happy being with her in hell, so i doubt he woyuld still be alive in my opinion

13

Sucks having to wait until wednesday for the finale.. I'm pretty hyped for their reactions to the ending lol

Notnotblasian

So basically he's dead in your opinion even though he's still alive LMAO wtf if anything he's sleep

Mervyn Larrier

Not a dragon Sheera, her form is based off of the succubi in game

Deonte Hall

No, he is very much alive. Check out the end credit scene for the final episode.

HIM

My nigga roshi acting like he never seen Mulan 🤣 😂 2-buckets on a stick is ANCIENT technology 😂

Joshua

I don't care what anyone says, the character designs this season are amazing. especially homegirl

Isaac

@ale Dracula is alive until the plot reveals him to not be. Season 4, he and Lisa were resurrected by Saint Germain and Death successfully but the ritual to implant them into a body failed and their souls went flying off far away where they were completely revived and they decided to lay low and live a simple life helping people. Lisa should be long dead but Dracula is alive unless by my theory he decided to die with Lisa to be with her in hell again if they decided not to turn her to a vampire.

2023-10-17 04:04:59 This here is why I laugh at people who have this dumb one sided idea that Dracula would hands down beat Erzabet thinking he is more powerful. She is the next coming of a Dracula figure after 300 years of him being 'dead' ( he's still alive theoretically ). She blocked out the damn sun with magic where as Dracula only had blueprints of machines that would fly over the sky and drape it with clouds to block the sun. This chick is on a different level though it'd be epic to see a death battle with her vs. Dracula.

Isaac

She has Dracula's level of influence ( before he lost it with the stunt he pulled for Lisa ) so it's only logical she's just as powerful physically and magically to keep that position of power.

Jorge Viera

i dont think drolta is a dragon she is more like vampire/imp if that makes sense

Isaac

Again, the abbot barely qualifies as a forgemaster. It's a microwave and you wouldn't call someone purely using a microwave a master chef would you? I wouldn't. The abbot isn't even the one doing the business of making these nightcreatures. He just watches the machine cook them up and he claims them.

Isaac

She meant it figuratively and somewhat literally in Olrox's case. It's a power metaphoric phrase like an Army General always knows where his dogs are in military speak.

Isaac

Your idea of God is one note. You're thinking of an omnipotent Christian God who knows all and sees all. Other Gods do not have this unless they're a God who specializes in clairvoyance. The God she is, is just a powerful being that cannot be dwarfed. You submit and worship. That's the God she is and what many other cultural Gods are. So yes you would be killed because your logic is like the Abbot's lol.

Isaac

Succubi and Incubi have a lot of demonic forms and features that are draconic adjacent so she's close but not an actual one unless plot says otherwise.

ThatOneGuy

I get what you mean but I was more thinking full on outer god figure then Christian since just like Maria said or her mom if the abbots god is so almighty why does he need him . To me if something is really godly it should be so powerful that it is unbothered, unthreatened and wouldn’t need anything or anyone. But now I see why she calls herself a god and would probably still laugh at her for the sake of annoyance if anything cause at the end of the day she’s a power hungry vampire afraid of losing her supposed place at the top of the food chain lmao.

TrinitytheApostle

Nah I got bored so I just read very brief summaries 😭evidently I missed a lot more than I thought my bad

HIM

WAS he tho...? 🤣 Lol it's all jokes brother

J

Those crows are thinking "we eatin good today boys"

Mad4Life

These vampire are dumb as hell I swear. If you permanently block out the sun that means plant life would die out. If plant life dies out the animals that eat those plants would die out. If those animals die out the animals who eat them will die and if they die the humans who eat those plants and animals would die. And to no surprise if the humans die out guess what's going to happen to the vampires? The sun is clearly a necessity for life but somehow the writers didn't even try to give the vampires a plausible motive to blocking out the sun other than boohoo I wanna always be outside not sometimes.

Mad4Life

It's been established in the games and series that Dracula is the strongest asides from Chaos. Just having access to overpowered spells doesn't automatically make you the strongest.

Isaac

Why are you calling out the writers? Did you know in history's past that ambitious people doing large scale moves had to suffer large scale conciquences because the leader and their followers were ignorant? This event is no different than those types of large scale events. It's happened many, many times and vampires are no different so why are you expecting unstable vampires to have this foresight? Ever since Dracula was shoved out of the picture they've made it apparent that vampirekind has gone off their rocker. They've changed in the past 300 years being directionless creatures who think they're superior and ego centric assholes like them are capable of making stupid catastrophic mistakes like humans and learning and adapting. Why call out the writers for not covering it all? Well ... there's only ONE SEASON of this right now. How about make this call when it's complete?

Isaac

The explain how and why Dracula was in the position of power. Was that ever thoroughly explained in lore? About to look it up real quick

Isaac

Looked it up. Dude Dracula basically did what Erzabet is doing now. Making power moves and declaring her rule and is succeeding.... she is on par with Dracula.

Ougi

They're not blocking it out entirely tho u fuckin muppet. Otherwise it'd be damn near pitch black. They want eternal night. So there would still be moonlight. There are plenty of plants that can grow with just moonlight, in fact most plants can grow under moonlight it just takes way longer. Then there's the fact they could just discover and develop Black lights, which is functionally artificial sunlight and can be used to grow plants. They've got plenty of time to do so if they haven't already, since it'll take a good while for humans to die out. And humans could also just develop Black lights given that the lack of a sun would force any scientist of the time to try and develop artificial sunlight. God you're a fucking idiot. Electricity already exists in this world, it has for over 300 fucking years and your dumbass couldn't figure out that artificial sunlight light is a thing that's used to grow plants irl. Your stupid ass was so busy tryna call the writers out that you ended up ignoring basic fuckin logic urself. Use ur fuckin brain u absolute melt

Ougi

Not to mention, Draculas Castle is still about, it alone has fuckloads of scientific records. That castle, which used electricity and had light bulbs was around 300 years earlier than electricity was developed irl. It took us over 200 years tk make the first blacklight from when electricity was first developed. So in the world of castlevania, which has already had electricity for that long, blacklights could already reasonably exist. And blacklights alone completely ruin your entire fucking point. Don't talk shit about the writers when it's YOU who needs to brush up on their intelligence. Fucking retard. U clry haven't got a single clue what the fuck you're talking about so just keep ur mouth shut from now on when it comes to the writing or the logic. Braindead ass mf

Mad4Life

Ahh yes I'm sure those black lights will help regulate the temperature on Earth so it isn't a ball of ice right? Humanity even with today's technology would not last long without direct light from the sun so why the fuck do you bozos think these guys would now back then?

Ougi

Simple answer: fuckin magic. Of course blacklights would work in insulated farms but planetwide it'd be an issue. Though all of that depends on the method they use to actually block most of the sun's rays. if they're Using fukin magic to block out the sun (which they are), the scientific implications become completely irrelevant because fuckin magic is involved. There's also the fact that scientific correctness≠good writing. Sure it can enhance a story, doesn't mean being scientifically incorrect makes the writing bad. Most stories barely pay attention to the scientific implications of what's happening because its not necessary when telling a fuckin fictional story. According to your dumbass logic, stories with scientific innacuracies are written badly simply because of those innacuracies. U used the term "plausible motive" completely incorrectly too, fym it's not plausible for vampires to want the freedom to roam 24 hours a day, especially when they see every fucking other creature walk in the sun like its nothing. Its 100% plausible for vampires to have such a motive u fucking melon. Sure, its not scientifically practical, but that's irrelevant when magic and fucking literal gods are involved. The plausibility of them having such a motive and the practicality of said motive from a solely scientific perspective are entirely separate.

ThatOneGuy

It’s most likely them confusing show Dracula and game Dracula I think since show Dracula didn’t like to use magic and probably barely used it compared to game Dracula that would mostly do whatever he wants

GojosHoho

That dragon transformation was hott 🥵😭

Merfhew

I don't understand why people are making this personal. On that note, it's usually best not to think too hard when it comes to fiction. 😅

Pan Cakes

bruh sometimes i think the writers are just trolling LMAO. they were talking about serious stuff then look at each other and be like "some fuck?" while blushing. i cant bruh

Keevondrick Womack

Drolta may be full of red flags...but im colorblind

Eliana

Droltaaaa😩😍😍😍

rickie woodson

with sheera on this one. just because you are a vampire doesnt mean you HAVE to drink human blood. they have shown they can live off of animal blood. you also dont need to drain a human to death to survive. so just because he was a now a vampire, doesnt mean he was instantly evil. especially when he was a good man in his human life. maybe that is something they can explore in this show, seeing someone become a vampire for the first time as we havent gotten to see the rules of this world. they are exploring those themes with eduard so that may be a bit repetitive, but would be nice to have a definitive answer: when a human becomes a vampire, are they instantly evil like in buffy? or can they maintain their same predisposition after the change like in vampire diaries?

2023-10-19 10:59:02 Drolta isn't a dragon, her desis based on a succubus. When Erzebet was saying "a god should know where all her dragons are" it was just some political shit-talking basically. That whole convo was just "I'm Her, bow to me or I'll kill Mizrak"

Sheera's a vegetarian last I remember so obviously she'll have this mentality. lol It's basically the same arguement that just because we're human doesn't mean we have to eat animals ... but we do... because that shit's delicious af and we can't really help it once we've gotten a taste. Same logic to vampires. Dracula even attempted to make this point to Godbrand but he wasn't having that because pig blood gives him the runny shits.

rickie woodson

My prospective is that sheera is really compassionate/empathetic. She often plays devil advocate (unless it involves kids 😆 momma dont play). where lupa and roshi are more likely to paint a person as good or evil, sheera often sees both sides. One of the reasons i love her.

Kinkaz

It being delicious doesn't mean you NEED it & we aren't carnivores with literally no other option. Maybe her being that influenced it, but it's not like regular non-vegetarian people are addicted like vampires are. And they could have some self control when sucking someone's blood, but they barely recognize people as anything more than food when it doesn't benefit them otherwise. It probably was just used to say that blood other than a human's is gross or they react badly to it, but since even human blood can be bland or gross to them, there could be a lot of factors to it. Like, maybe it's just pig blood, or those pigs had trash blood, maybe Godbrand was porcine intolerant or some shit idk? The taste of the blood changes based on a lot of things in one person & the same thing happens with animal meat. Edit: They can eat & drink human food & drinks & it stills tastes good to them, they just don't get much or any sustenance from it. If they can eat meat that still has blood in it & find it good, they could probably drink the blood of that animal & be fine.

DevilMayCarter

Can't wait for Lupa to start using that one...Obsidian Black.

Michael Brown

Why they stay in that house when every op they got knows where they live lmao
