there is a manhwa where the main character is isekaied and when he returns as the hero, has to face the consequences of dissapearing, like his parents died, he get's ostracized for abandoning his family and studies, etc. It's called "the Hero Returns" amazing read, you guys should read it.

Yes! they deserve a good laugh. Cautious hero was good, but there's still plenty of GREAT comedies. (1) Uncle from Another World made me cry laughing. So did (2) Hinamatsuri - similar setup to Mob Psycho but wildly different show, first minute of the show has crazy good fight animation. (3) Aosbi Asobase if you can deal with the environment/MC being school girls. (4) Nichijou also a hilarious school slice of life. (5) Combatants will be Dispatched if they want something like Cautious Hero or Konosuba again. I enjoyed Eminence in Shadow, it's good, but all the boring exposition from 1x12-1x18 was too much for me. The first 1-3 shows are 10/10s for me because they have so much heart/character. Nichijou was a high 9 but gets an honorary 10/10 because of the tragedy. Eminence s1 was a 7 at best. It's a parody ofc but still so generic that it got boring watching sometimes. Grand Blue was similar since it's funny but has the same repeated gags.

even if clown shoes, they spent way too much time on exposition in eps 12-17 on super generic backstories and motivations. At first during school hostage arc it was funny for being too much with Sherry lecturing Cid, but then they just continued it thru the end of season

don't forget episodes 12-17 in S1 that were just endless exposition, explaining the most boring, generic backstories. Even if that's supposed to be a gag, it was way too much, took too much time. They could have had some funny hard cuts or background shit going on like in Isekai Ojisan when he started organizing his inventory. If someone already didn't like the show early on, then they'll be super disengaged at that point.
