In baki the grappler the maximum tournament when baki goes against jack for the first time (before his surgery) he choked jack so hard to win that his back transforms into the demon back and it changes back to normal after the fight ends which shows that he inherited it. It is in season 2 episode 23 of baki the grappler maximum tournament (2001) if you want to watch it for yourself but we havent seen it since. (that i know of)

Ahh yes introduction to the infamous Demon Back😭 Also for clarifying references, yes the Shaori started becoming ineffective when Yujiro started using all his force to knock him into the arena wall. As effective as it is for objects that are in motion (i.e a moving fist, or certain car accidents when your body is being jerked around) your body objectively cannot resist direct contact against blunt forces. The baby thing is an exception given how their muscle mass haven’t developed yet to stiffen. They basically are the thing that the martial artists try to imitate. S/N I do feel like the old man won in a way, bc he proved how martial arts could overcome strength but at the same time playing dead is a literal admittance of being not able to win so it’s still a L for him😭
