To answer Lupa’s question about Fury being a skrull the whole time, it was Spider-Man: Far From Home. It was revealed in the end credits that Fury was never on Earth and it was a Skrull that was helping Peter.

So now the question becomes, how long has Ross been a Skrull. The whole time or was he swapped out recently. I'm of the opinion he was swapped out after he was rescued by Okoye. I think the Skrulls found out he was a fugitive from the US government and decided that was the perfect time to impersonate him since he has no one to turn to for help. He cant go to the government bow that hes a fugitive.

As someone that *went* to school for arts and design, the controversy was pretty dumb IMO. Not only does the deeply unsettling AI aesthetic make sense for a show about literal shape shifting spies, but you know Marvel didn't type in the prompt and immediately shit out whatever the AI gave them - they hired artists and editors to take that initial first pass and make something out of it. And in that sense - AI creations as an artist's tool and not a replacement for the artist - it's definitely a lot more palatable, even if it would be preferable for something like this to 100% human made.

The controversy is not dumb. Regardless of Marvel hiring people to go over it past the first pass the ai still uses other peoples work and would have given more people jobs had they not used it. The use of AI fitting the aesthetic of the show does not make it ethical. This is why "Cuties" is disliked because its a movie about child sexualization being a problem while also sexualizing real children.

The same could be said for motion tweening or filters or basically any form of technological advancements made in the art world in the last 40 years, even before you factor in the AI problem of today. I know saying "that's how it's always been, and it's inevitable" isn't much comfort or much of an argument, but it's the reality every field has to face for the rest of this century. Art isn't exempt.

Intro is a little too long. Also, apparently people were hired to create the AI intro and used concept art they created as a base. They just used AI to help with the effect.

I feel like the undertone of the beginning of the show was that AI is definitely taking over how we live our day-to-day lives. It reminded me of shows that introduce AI as a pre-show allure. Additionally, the plot involving America versus Russia and a secret bomb was intriguing. I wouldn't be too surprised if this is their way of normalizing or signaling what's really happening through media. The ownership of Hollywood and media by Vanguard/BlackRock, as well as their agenda, is fascinating. It seems like they are trying to induce fear.

I enjoyed the intro. Definitely had an eerie feel to it. I don't mind it being A.I because to me art is art no matter where it came from. Someone had to take the time to get the A.I to make an opening to their liking, so work was put in at some point.
