I was never a fan of Alejandro cause although he has genuine motive just the way he goes about things is sloppy. That's why Teddy is a good balance for him but when he hides things like this it creates problems later on that can mess up the whole operation.

can somebody explain to me the story line of Teddy and Alejandro? i am not a native english speaker and i genuinly don't understand why Teddy as an CIA Agent is messing with the coke business (probably missed/didn't get it). And why are Alejandro and Teddy working together?

Franklin went to the Mexicans to sell the rest of the cocaine I understand he’s trying to trying to find somebody to sell the rest, but that was pretty silly of him to try the Mexicans but Franklin has the best storyline in this show and it gets better as the show goes on imo and teddy takes 2nd then oso takes 3rd but Franklin and Jerome are my favorite characters in this show

What Teddy does is a CIA operative who set up and runs an off-the-books assignment in Los Angeles to help fund the fight against communism in South America by selling cocaine in the states with Alejandro helping out by being his pilot to bring the coke in the United States what Alejandro gets out of it is to get supplied with weapons to help his people in the war

This show is based off real characters and events so back in the 80s there was this thing called the “crack epidemic” where the government was selling crack Cocain to black neighborhoods to quietly support and fund the contras who at the time had overthrown the dictator of Cuba and they wasn’t fuckin with Russia and communism and if you’re not fuckin with Russia you’re friends of the USA government that’s why teddy is going so hard to make sure those guns don’t lead back to the United States cuz if it did it was gonna start a war between the countries it goes way deeper than that but this all i could remember from history class 😂

I love that you guys are such fans of the show already. A lot of people say the first season is slow, which it is in some moments, but it has to be to set everything in motion. People are weird. On another note, I forgot how annoying and irresponsible Leon was in the beginning. He pissed me off so bad this episode. I didn't start watching this show until Season 3 so I don't know how folks felt about him early on but I know he becomes a fan favorite. Show is so good at developing characters. Great reaction as always!

this is power all over again. let me explain: dont like any of the characters in that show. there was no one to care for or root for BUT the plot, writing/dialogue and acting kept me interested. same here. moreso the plot than anything else. unpredictable and thats how i like it!
