The show is hilarious. I mean the writing is incredible + it’s intriguing and entertaining plot wise. I mean go look at the IMDb scores for some of the episodes they’re a reason it’s so high. And it doesn’t get worse throughout the show like one of the episodes in their latest season is at like 9.9/10 on IMDb

It's just that we don't see a lot of shows like that on the channel. That's it. And I was genuinely curious as to what motivated people to suggest it (other than it obviously being a critically-acclaimed show. At the Odd Taxi bit, that sounds good. Will have to check it out.

To get the real Sweet Home experience, you need to just read the webtoon. It's significantly better. I was surprised when they announced a show of it because there was so much I thought would be hard to bring to a tv show without a massive budget. Was not surprised when it was so poorly done that it was hard to watch. I'd honestly rate it lower than you guys, but the webtoon is a solid 8/10.

Oh btw Lupa the webtoon ended. It actually ended even before the show came out. Recently the author of Sweet Home released the prequel to the series called 'Shotgun Boy' which goes into more detail about how the whole monster outbreak started.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't enjoy it. It's not that far of a jump from something like Peaky Blinders. No violence sure, but ultimately it's about family drama, politics, power plays. Great writing and it's funny. It's a little bit out of the channel's usual pics, but I don't think it's a huge stretch. I mean, they just watched Beef and I wouldn't call that their usual fare either, but it made for great reactions ( will admit that I don't think they'd like it for the first few episodes, I didn't either. It's a show that takes a little while to click)

nah man it's a strong 9.5/10 comic, this adaptation didn't capture even 50% of the og content properly. it's so good it got a prequel that feels like a diff series but makes perfect sense called shotgun boy, and is going to get a sequel that combines both stories' characters
