All praise Ginro who will get us out this shit show of an stone island

Ginger Dwarf

"You seen the chick with the cotton candy, all it took was one lick" Sheera naming the ONE person who wasn't turned to science xD

Justice

First of all to remind you guys the reason kohaku and ishigami village is in Japan is because in the hundred tails bayakuya wrote go to Japan. They just didn't send everyone encase the boat sank. And also to remind you that island is where the petrification originated, the light started there and traveled to the rest of the world.

KeYo

yeah fucking jafar over here lol

OldManMag

Sheera is right. It stopped there because he wanted her. He told her she was aiming too low so she aimed up a little giving her just enough space to not be turned.

Papa Souls

as fucking if the light worked like that, it hit all of humanity regardless if they were inside, underground in the water in or in the sky, it passed through solid objects. Are you trying to tell me that people with blackout curtains sleeping in their bed were fine and just didn't do anything about it 3000 years ago. Light simply doesn't work that way differing scale or not Fucking L plot hole.

botanbutton

I was waiting for the "LABO DA!" scene. Just clowns, lmao.

JsnSkg

If you're gonna be that toxic about it, I could literally spoil it for you. You're really asking to be spoiled. But you know.... here's a hot tip: Maybe if you KEEP FUCKING WATCHING, you'll find out sooner or later. It's called PLOT DEVELOPMENT. It's way too early to be judging and calling out non-existent plot holes. Jfc you're so dumb. Because a fictional radiating ray of light from a fictional device has to work exactly how real life light works. Yes. Sure thing. Despite you not knowing a damn single thing about said device. Lmao. Imagine acting like you know shit, when you really fucking don't. XD

ClayPM

Ahh Moz is on screen. The man who's criminally down bad talking about he can see her beauty in 5 years. That's the type of defense he'd be giving in court xD

ClayPM

Been a while since they explained the cracks but it's from the areas that got weathered i believe. Like the parts that erroded over time. So any of these people turned to stone won't have cracks cause it's not been nearly long enough for that to happen. If I'm remembering correctly the stuff that was said in season 1 Lol

Shannon

actually they stated the petrification started in south america. thats why they needed food to last months. not just the day or two it took for them to get here

Angelo Marchantt

Bro what drugs are you on. You are literally complaining about nothing. In no point of the episode was it ever even hinted about any light shit. The beam had a radius, it stopped there, that's it, senku legit explained it. Like other dude said if you are so pressed about it hit me up I'll spoil the whole mistery to you but don't go around complaining about shit that didn't even happen lmao

Merfhew

@Papa Souls --- Wait, what? Being in the water isn't what protected Ginro, and being shielded by her friends isn't what protected Amaryllis. If your takeaway from this episode is that the green light can't go through the water / objects / blackout curtains (???), then you've misunderstood.

Talking Is A Free Action

Man these islanders are lucky Tsukasa is on Ice. Man would've walked in and made himself the new master.

Orlandez Malone

Did it ever occur to you that this smaller light on the end of a rope may not be as powerful or have the full effect of the one that ended humanity? Or that it has a fixed radius, like they explained in the show? I'm not a manga reader but that idea makes sense to me. Also, it's a fucking anime

NWHippy

I'm curious if the petrification light also got Hyoga and Homura (since they were inside?), not that i'd like to see them out and about causing mayhem but Hyoga was nasty with the spear. After seeing how widespread the light was I think its probably unlikely but just a thought. 🤔

Ranginald Vagel

They were inside the boat and the radius covered the whole boat, the only survivors got very far from the boat very quickly, if being sheltered protected you there would have been many survivors from the first flash.

NWHippy

Yeah I knew it was highly unlikely, I am curious though how the livestock was unaffected. I remember from the first season there was a dog I believe attached to its owner and wasn't turned but didnt senku also unpetrify like a bird? It's been quite some time since I watched previous seasons so forgive me if my comment its complete gibberish. All in all looking forward to see what happens next!

Drake Rage

No wait, I think only birds got affected? I remember birds turned into stone, but there were lions and shit still alive, so it was only birds + humans. But that was a good observation though, I completely overlooked the animals not getting petrified, but just remembered they didn't get petrified initially either, like the Lion that Tsukasa killed with 1 strike, lol. It is coming back to me, even when humans were still fine, there were reports on the news about birds turning into stone, so Senku theorized that the birds might have been the initial experiment, so whoever did the petrification tested it on birds, then 2nd wave was turning humans into stone.

baja

if i remember correctly, the birds were petrified before people. i think the birds were test run

baja

bro, they didnt build a cruise to sail the distance that a baby did on a raft

NWHippy

Yeah I feel like I need to go rewatch the first two seasons to get a good refresher. Appreciate the response, I recalled the birds getting petrified but totally blanked out that they were being tested on before humans.

BZD

It was only Swallows and humans. Not even every bird.
