I mean, as far as demon slayer powerscaling goes, lightning speed at this stage is pretty consistent with later feats. I've actually used this fight even from the manga as supporting evidence for end game demon slayer scaling being consistently lightning speed, due to this and something that happens later in the same fight

I think genya literally snapped out of rage because on tanjiro being a genuine supportive type person, I don't think genya had any of that since the night his family died, tanjiro literally took his big brothers place in this episode. This arc is what made me start loving Genya in the manga. The anime did his backstory justice. And they really played this episode on Mother’s Day of all days lol. And Roshi shouting “You missed?!” remind me of that scene in Mulan where Mushu was like “You missed! How could you miss?! He was 3 feet in front of you!” 🤣🤣🤣

I like how they ended the episode the same way the did in the Entertainment District Arc, they cut off the episode before we could see Tanjiro cut off the demons head, i think its the episode called the Gathering

Nah Sekido has been carrying. He's the only cautious one of the group taking the threats seriously since the beginning. First one to take Tanjiro seriously, first one to question why Genya wasn't dying, First one to be cautious of the Flaming sword, and now first one to figure out what Tanjiro was trying to do with finding the fear demon. He was also the only one not playing with his food like Karaku and Orogi were in the beginning of the fight. He's been leading the pack the entire time.

For such a high profile show it is an incredibly dull intro. The bit at the beginning where 3 of them are staring at the screen and it just transitions them to looking to the left is so clunky. Followed by random scenery and fights.
