I didn't expect insane animation because the manga isn't insanely detailed and the anime is pretty faithfull to the manga so far but it feels off? There are so many still images and characters and backgrounds are just layered with slowly moving "cameras" it gives me hella Opm season2 vibes with everything feeling stiff and flat like am I tripping or did anyone notice that aswell? It's not a "bad" adaption but the mashle manga had clean and often good art and this feel a little bit disappointing this would be a lot more enjoyable than it already is if it would be a bit more dynamic no? For me anime should always be a decent bit better than the manga with all the music, voice actors, animation etc. but with episode 2 it already feels like manga > anime. Idk how to feel about that.
