I looooved the twist! Turns out dude wasn't even really worried about the bullying and the murders so much as he was worried about reputation. And the fact that he did it so effortlessly. You just know that wasn't his first rodeo. So cool how in the end the one you suspected of being a murderer technically wasn't. But still good riddance to her lol

This show was too good! I’m glad you guys enjoyed it and hopefully you guys react to some more K-dramas in the future. You guys should definitely watch “My Name” (I can see it being a trio reaction but I don’t mind a duo). This show is still about revenge but not as “planned out.” However, it makes up for it with the action. The lead actress of this show (the one who plays dong-eun) and the lead actress in “My Name” will be filming a show together soon.

Personally I like that it was just the two of them. I think they’re both more attentive and a certain level of attention is important to understand all the twists and turns here. I can imagine Lupa making 30 jokes in 1 minute and then them possibly missing important details. Still love my man Lupa tho.

The acting was amazing all around, I can think of great scenes for all of them. Even tho it was confusing at times, it still kept my attention and I really enjoyed all of it. Episode 15 was probably my favorite, tho the finale was also very satisfying (except for Yeon-jin’s mother, I really would’ve liked to see her suffer more, but eh, at least she’s in prison lol). Thanks for sharing this show with people, it truly deserves all the praise.

The way I can rationalize the Ms. Kang and Sun-a situation is like…Hyeon-nam is ultimately a working class woman who doesn’t have a lot of the more technologically advanced life skills. Even with money provided to her, it’s very hard to uproot your life to a foreign country where you know no one and whose most prevalent language you don’t speak? She’d have to worry about a job search and housing, just to begin with. It’s easier for Sun-a who can get in on a student visa, has a homestay, and is young enough to learn as she goes. As much as I don’t necessarily enjoy it, it makes sense that they’re still living in separate countries by the end.

I had so much fun rewatching the glory with you both! If you want another drama similar to this show to watch, I highly recommend My Name! It's on netflix too and it's also about revenge but more action packed so I'm sure you'd enjoy it :) I also wanna recommend Girl From Nowhere!!!! I don't think Jae-jun had taken the eye drops until we saw him use it. Notice how fast his eyes started to burn once he used it. I think what we were seeing before hand was his eye symptoms that he hoped to help with the eyedrops.

its one season split up into two parts. a total of 16 episodes for the season. kdramas usually only have one season, 16-26 episodes. thats why i love them. complete story without taking years to tell it (im looking at you america with your 16 seasons of grey's anatomy)

Another thing I could think of was Dong-eun was afraid that if Sun-a comes back from the U.S, she could be leverage somehow. For example: If Yeon-jin was able to escape and try to get her revenge on Dong-eun, she could have Sun-a be a hostage at some point. It's a bit of an extreme example, but it's something I thought about.

It deals with romance, mental health, abuse, a bit a storybook vibe like tim burton movies, hilarious, and top tier characters. It was such a great show to watch.

I like how at the end the clouds rolled in with them, made them look like Grim Reapers bringing death. Show was fire all 16 eps, not one bad or meh episode. There was comedy and romance yet it didn't take away from the serious/dark feel of the show.

in korea the justice system is very shit when it comes to sexual offenses, even more so than in the US. if jaejun and myeongo went to trial for the rape and assault they committed they wouldn't have gotten the punishment they deserve and would've gone on to hurt more people in the future. it makes sense for them to die. and many would agree wasting away in prison for the rest o ur life is worse, like yeonjin and sara are.

Bro I’ve never been so satisfied at a show’s conclusion before. Everybody got it bad. 2 dead, 3 wishing they were dead, hell even the adults involved got theirs for betraying and turning their backs on defenseless kids. That right there is so fucking cathartic. Glad Ms. Moon hung in there and showed them what the night really looks like, and I’m glad she was saved from taking her own life each time she tried. As happy as I am that she got her revenge and she did it 4D chess style, I’m more happy that she found herself again afterwards and also something to live for. That story gives me hope too. I was never afforded the luxury of vengeance, but I share the hope she had. The hope that one day I’ll fully move past everything and find my place of peace. Thanks ya’ll for putting me on to this. In a way, this was healing for me too 🙏🏼

I was wondering about this even before but now I'll say it. What the hell was wrong with the subtitles the entire series. When I watched it on netflix the subs were completely fine. For example in this episode when Yeo Jong's dad's killer shouted "wake up, wake up" it should've instead been "dad, dad" and I think he is not a psychopath like fore example Joe from You but a sociopath instead. Isn't sociopath the one with no humane feelings?

while they are likely watching the same netflix version that you watched, the version they are using for the video edit is probably a free version from some site. And the translation on those are usually not as accurate. Alot of reactors do that cus its easier to upload and edit them.

there was really nothing that could be done with jae jun or myeong o. dong euns punishment for jae jun was the blinding, do yeong killed him himself. there was no way to prove that baby in so hee was caused by rape. the only thing myeong o could be put in jail for was drugs but then how would yeon jin be punished if they dont have the dna from the myeong o case to match with the lighter from the so hee case?

"The World of the Married" has similar vibes to this show All K-Dramas have a specific list of songs to create an OST Album for the series. K-Drama productions are so fast, (100+ dramas a year that are 16-20 episodes, etc.). The music part of it is extremely important in making a K-Drama standout/memorable. Also having a a famous K-Pop idol sing one of the OST songs could help with the success of the drama. The replayed songs help create continuity and reinforces the connectivity of the storyline. It annoyed me at 1ST when I started watching K-Dramas but as long as the song isn’t really terrible I started to love that aspect.
