Need season 3 now!

Comments

Excalibur Umbra

Well you're in luck because season 3 got confirmed sunday

Fan Daze

I think they say the end of the episode credits it said season 3 in production

Ginger Dwarf

Sheera is forgiven for forgetting some details, for correctly understanding what happened to march.

Lumoshi

Between the end of season 2 and the end Credit scene is only 500 years so yeah they were a lot closer to modern times than it looked

twinuzis

good season 7/10 for me definitely not better than season 1 I dont think anything can top that

illmindedsoul

Well gotta wait for season 3 now damn...

naa

season 1 and the beginning of season 2 were so strong i think it made my standards for the rest of the series too high

botanbutton

Yep, Sheera is correct about March. Tonari wanted to ease her suffering by poisoning her; Hairo volunteered to do it. Can't wait for season 3 tho, gonna be fun.

Merfhew

I think Lupa was about to call this out before the post-credits scene started, but yeah, this season's ending credits show a tree growing, along with Fushi's companions appearing in the order of their deaths. First is Eko, followed by March, and finally ending with Bon. It's crazy to think that we've seen this ending for 20 episodes now, but what we were watching didn't have any meaning until the finale.

Erica Collins

I was looking forward to seeing March all grown up but she still died as a child 😭 It makes sense, she loves Fushi and sees him as her child and wants nothing more than to stay by his side but dang that's still really sad. I'm very curious about what S3 will be about tho. Can't wait!

RuTo-San

The ED of the show make's sense now the Tree growing 👍dam I love this show 2-3 years from now for Season 3 and the manga still going

Polygon

March's story is so damn sad. Killed as a kid when her only dream was to become an adult, comes back to life after over 200 years and then immediately dies again because she's so pained by Fushi's departure. Hopfully the drug Tonari used allowed to her go painlessly.

Merfhew

Writing and pacing issues aside, it also doesn't help that the animation quality has been going (mostly) downhill since the Jananda Island Arc, way back in Season 1. Now, I don't need perfect, ufotable-level animation to enjoy a series, but I think To Your Eternity could have used a bigger budget and/or more time in production.

Merfhew

The narrator said that Gugu died peacefully like March, so I'm thinking the drug must have been quick and painless.

Kenisha & Kim

i think we will see march grow up like even fushi was like ok we are ready so im taking tht as him reviving people but my question is how is he gonna incorporate that in modern times like wont he come across sus

EmoBurrito

This season was solid, a lot of interesting things happened. I'm actually super invested on how Fushi is going to interact in the "modern" times. No idea when season 3 will be out but I'm guessing early 2025. Damn that's such a long time lol.

Devin B

I promised myself I wouldn't be upset from anyone dying because of Fushi being able to bring people back but damn does this show find different ways to come at your feelings. March really can't be the adult that she wanted even after being given a second chance.

Smash Bran'Discootch

I'm pretty sure when he took the rope off, he was bringing the boy back to life. I could be wrong. But he said he wanted to bring everyone back in a world without the nokkers.

FreshxEli Tv

When Fushi Eyes Turned From Green It Changed To The Man In Black Eye Color !!!!! I went back to see if I was tripping but noo Fushi Has The Same Eyes As Him Now

FreshxEli Tv

The boy Already Passed On Unless Fushi learned how to summon souls back to the world of the living

Devin B

As soon as the boy with no name died we saw that he was following the rest of his people that passed on so there was no chance of bringing him back to life.

KeYo

so like......that dude who got brought back to life in an apron who was butt ass naked......grew old and was still butt ass naked lmao like hello? are you a nudist sir

ChickenDinners

I'd say it was the start of season one that was really good. The whole island arc was kind of boring to me.

joshua rosario

i think the food thing is just like when ppl offer food to the dead so the dead can eat the food.

Guns

What kinda cars they using in the roads full of vines tho?

Certifiedan3

I’m just glad that the priest died the same method and way he tried to subject fushi too. Comeuppance at its finest.

2023-03-15 05:34:23 I literally thought "doesn't Miguel look a little too old to be her bf" last episode, glad they hit us with that wholesomeness early in the episode.

Seriously, words can't describe how happy I feel seeing March be so lively again. She probably had the saddest death, she was always excited with her dream being to grow up and be a mommy, but got chosen to become a sacrifice, but then she ran into Fushi and became his mommy for a short while, taught him stuff, but ended up dying when she was still such a young child. Then she followed Fushi for centuries cause she cared about him and she had become his mommy so she couldn't leave her child. Like it is insane how intricate all of this is and how emotional it can get with how everything plays out. Absolute masterpiece of a story. edit: Jesus Christ, I am glad I stopped the episode near the beginning so I got to enjoy the wholesomeness for a little bit before watching the rest of it.... Fricken March man I was saying how her death was the most sad before, but they bring her back and make it EVEN worse, WHY?! T_T

Gilthwixt

They straight up translated it wrong lol when I saw the subtitles a couple episodes ago I was screaming. Mom was supposed to say "He's...a boyfriend of sorts" instead of straight up "He's her boyfriend".

Gilthwixt

March: Fushi, join us in the bath! Fushi: Sure, I'll be right there Tonari: Aight I'mma headout 😳😳 This lady followed Fushi for hundreds of years and she still ain't ready for that 😂😭

Gilthwixt

I love how the end credits were such a major spoiler for the season but its funny how you would never know without the context. I really hope y'all enjoy Season 3 when it comes out. You have to imagine its a very significant shift in genre/tone now that we're in the modern age. I personally loved it but it has its controversies. They also teased it a bit weird, the manga sets it up differently. Can't wait til the anime covers it.

Fatherlord

he has a whole religion based around what he did. He's basically jesus. Some people are gonna follow him, some are going to still think he's a demon, and probably some won't believe unless they see his powers for themselves

2023-03-15 09:48:51 I think there's a good chance to revive those who died relatively young like march, gugu & etc. in S3 with the exception of those who died of old age since its practically useless to revive them being old and they probably have lived a full life like bonchan and perona.

Sauce Sorcerer

Fushi actually did tell them in this ep that he plans to revive them once he expands across the entire world so I'm assuming he can fully restore their youth at this point

L.C.

This was a great season. Shows like this deserve more attention than they get. Ready to see season 3 with the daily adventures of fushi in city life! lol

Vincent S Deluca

He should be able to revive them to their youth, Their souls dont really have an age persay, If he makes them their young body and they enter it they are young, much wiser and beyond their years but young

Matrim Hall

They didn't poison Fushi, they poisoned March so she wouldn't suffer growing up with no Fushi

Lola

Next season will be age of fushi ultron lmao

Devin B

I also think him taking off the rope was him basically saying he's done spreading his roots and now he can move around freely

PyroPhoenix

I think removing the rope means that he is reviving that person. Remember the way he revives people is he transforms into the body n cuts/removes the rope. This basically means he has freed that white haired boy into the modern world. Kid is gonna be lost af 😂

Jason

It's not the nameless boy, it was said that if the person ghost chose to go to heaven instead of staying behind, fushi can't revive them and the nameless boy chose to go to heaven instead.

bro

His eyes turned pink, back to their original color. When Fushi takes on someone's appearance, his eyes are yellow. Removing the rope meant he brought the boy back.

ERRORCODE616

I'm just imagining people in the modern age trying to cut/burn the vines off of their buildings, and Fushi sending out one of his forms and just being like "How bout you don't do that?" and then disappearing again.

Oliver

Is that the Tree that gave Ymir the founding Titan powers lmao

Jacob The weird

Finna have Fushi transforming into a Ford F250 next season

Ttime Sorlax

I'm gonna miss "now and forever more"

Hello

LMAO though he probably couldn't cause it doesn't have life. He could probably make a bunch though

Hello

Yeah when I realized that I was like "dang that's like wow." I was wondering that at first but then when they mentioned gugu dying the same way, it really clicked Like despite this being a "happy-ish" ending, it was still pretty sad nonetheless. She wanted to grow up but only with fushi and she was so sad that they essentially used a painless drug to stop it.The other deaths too were pretty sad.

Hello

Yeah this is the first time I've seen an anime actually go into the modern times after being in old times for so long lol. Most manga just choose a time period and stick it with. Only possible exception being isekai which are in modern times for like the beginning of the first episode then goes to a world of old times mostly.

L Jeans

ngl, cried though the whole second half because it was so bittersweet. Not a fan of what they did with March... but i was mostly sad that it seems we will be saying goodbye to these characters for now. Also last scene has me confused.

nathaniel dixon

i like what they did with march because it made sense. he can bring her back and she can grow up with him like she wanted to when hes done with whatever
