The manga is from, like, the 90s. Every gunfight in media was kinda like this. The suspension of disbelief needs to be way higher than in a John Wick movie.

I don't know why Black lagoon keeps getting a pass from you niggas on this dumb shit. its still a fun show tho, but the whole its from the "90s" shtick isn't a good excuse for me when it comes to bad writing. Especially considering that plenty of shows and movies from the 90s got trashed on for doing the exact same thing Lagoon does. It isn't getting any special treatment from me. And I hope Roshi and the crew don't give it a pass either when it comes to the final grade.

@$am I mean to be fair, I don't really think Rocks character development is honestly that worthy of acknowledgment. They have also probably seen far to many character's with Rocks whole chess move and planning 12 steps ahead schtick. That did it way better. I also feel like Rock spends about 90 percent of time explaining shit right as its happening ,that also kind of cheapens it. Like its not subtle at all.

@$am Yeah that's true, but I think that was mainly Lupa that was shitting on Rock that whole time. Roshi and Sheera seem pretty neutral on Rock. But Rock was also mad annoying at least to me in those early episodes with the constant flip flopping. So I really don't blame Lupa for that. We still got two episodes left tho. I'm definitely sure that they will probably acknowledge it on the final discussion for the show.

I disagree personally because Rocks always had it in him. It’s just up to this point he’s never really fully embraced it. I’ve seen a lot of characters being 12 steps ahead as well and Rock was still surprising.
