For me it depends on how an anime does it cause when they do a generic theme for the cultural festival it gets dull quickly

Ok so its been brought up many times but can we get the same subs you are watching? What you give us is nowhere near as accurate/good as what you are watching and it makes the experience for first time watchers just awful.

Hey! I can work on that. If a show is on crunchyroll we watch it there, sometimes the magical places we pull the episodes from have the CR subs and sometimes they dont but theres not really a way to know without double watching everything lol. Ill try to vet this better

What do you specifically find bad about it? The dialogue? Story? Characters? etc What would you compare the quality of the writing to? What would you recommend as extremely well written anime to emulate? Edit: Best way to flush out trolls is to ask them to give a thoughtful analysis. I never got the vibe that they were sick of the "culture" of the cultural festival itself, but rather the cliche trope/choice of maid cafes and haunted houses. And no, I don't think that maid cafes and haunted houses are what define the culture. Toradora's wrestling show is a breath of fresh air example :p

the subs that show up on the screen are way better imo than the crunchyroll subs. theres no individuality in the crunchyroll ones, every character just talk like middle aged adults, its very filtered
