If this is based on a true experience/story, does it stay true to the person who did this revenge? Is she still alive? Are the directors adding and changing some of the details? I heard the actual events itself were more gruesome than what was explicitly shown in the series

No the real person did not get revenge, but she did an interview about her experience. She showed the burns and was talking about how some of the people who bullied her were nurses now.

What's also confusing with naming is that, hyung/oppa and unni/nuna, means (big) brother or sister, and none relatives (friends) that are close, call each other that. The subs don't really translate it like that, so it seems weird when they replace it with the characters name, but they say hyung or so instead.

Just binged watched the entire first season today. It was alright, just wished it was more satisfying. The next season seems to also be 8 episodes too. Hopefully, the revenge was worth it and not some bullshit that stops it from happening.
