The game you were wondering about (not sure if anyone said it already) was Mahjong. Not the flip tile games that most people know, but the actual poker esc game. There is an anime called Saki where they actual play this version of the game that got me hooked awhile back.

The comments on this really shows me how shit writing gets propelled into the mainstream and approved. This episode had absolutely horrible writing. On one hand you got kids in the comments trying to prove how it's realistic for a ex military guy to survive multiple niggas with guns & knives. In reality he'd be dead in less that 10-15 seconds at most. On the other hand you got people justifying Arisu's actions when really and truly he's been a pathetic MC both seasons. They established him as some smart kid in the first episode and then gave him the side character, cry baby seat the rest of the series. You all really need to learn what bad and good writing is cause shit is ridiculous. Don't even get me started on Niragi even being alive, he served no purpose continuously coming back other than to annoy the viewer. This is why anime is best adapted to live action with little inspiration instead of full adaptation, this shit is corny as hell but I guess I can't expect weebs to understand and or agree.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, The writing isn't why this show went "Mainstream". Noone applauds Saw for its writing either. Its a thriller with interesting death games that force people from very different walks of life to clash together and change eachother for better or worse, thats what is entertaining about it.

My man Aguni has the precision to shoot a little can while turning and falling backwards from the second floor but cant shoot japanese John Wick in the head lmao. Either way it was such a fun episode even with all the nonsense

我很慶幸我在觀看這部劇後，去認真了解一下漫畫原著，才解釋了我認為所有不合理的情節以及不少突兀的部分，實話實說和原著相比，有非常多情節的刪減，連登場角色，相關遊戲，人物的內心解析都做出了不小的修改，這麼說吧，如果漫畫原著我可以給很高的評價，至於這個改編的電視劇，我只能給7分，挺讓我失望的。
