When you're used to watching newer anime, shows like black lagoon don't age well. Nowadays if a character gets caught dialoguing too much they get punished(otherwise viewers get annoyed) where as when this show was made that was common in anime. The first time I watched black lagoon however many years ago was the most I enjoyed it; Rewatching hasn't been as enjoyable as the first because it's hard to ignore all the stupid shit like stormtrooper aim and braindead villains like the cartel

I love how this show handles other languages. The Japanese VA try their best even in this scene since Spanish and Japanese are similar. The easy contrast and diversity in English just adds a lot to this show

In all honesty, my rewatches always skipped to episode 8 lol. I never thought the first half of this show was strong, even on first watch. It was more so the Twins that hooked me on the madness more than anything. 2nd Barrage is straight bangers on bangers. But yeah, watching this AND A.I.B, AND the fuckery that was part 6, I feel they might need a break from suspending their disbelief before they end up as 3 whole SpongeBob "Imagination" memes 😆 On that note.... I say let's get our crew on some of that ANDOR!!! No BS, No Fluff. Best Star Wars content out, especially for casual fans and/or haters 😎
