honestly i think i enjoyed the first season more but that’s probably because back then i was brand new to the death game genre so i had never seen anything like it. however that being said, the second season is still fantastic and definitely worth the watch- especially the last 2 ep which were fucking phenomenal. i would explain more but that’d be going into spoiler territory😅

The King of Spades is not necessarily the final boss, but he is definitely the hardest difficulty boss for physical games. Also I don't think that he killed people to force them into other games, it's just their rational choice to avoid him and join other easier games first (well Arisu and the others went for the King of Clubs, the highest difficulty boss for team games, so I'm not sure if it is easier)

I don't think you guys get it what happening with the King if Spade is that the whole city is his game arena basically the city is one big ass borderline I get where you guys are coming from but it's kinda right that that the game started without warning because all games are situated in the city Also I noticed they split up Chisiya from Arisu group and I thing they had to do it because it's kinda like game breaking to have two of the smartest niggas on the same team writers knew what they was doing with that one it's like having Light and L on the same team every game would be easy so I see what they did there

Quick refresher on the suits: Spades are about physical ability (which is why the King’s game is just Objective:Survive lol), Diamonds require analysis and intelligence( remember the lightbulb game), Clubs ask for cooperation, and Hearts are the worst because they’re psychological games that tax players mentally, they usually have a nasty trick to them.

Correct, the King of Spades’ arena just happens to be, “everywhere that isn’t another face game’s arena”. It’s not any more special than the other King games other than that. The transition was really abrupt though, in the manga there’s a part where the dealers explain the neat stage, about how it’s now dealers vs players, etc. there’s even silhouettes of Kyuuma and the other kings that talk.

I wasn’t that interested in watching them run away from the shooter so I wasn’t really into this episode until we got towards the end. But it left me hopeful that it’ll start to pick up into the more interesting parts of the series where they have to come up with clever plans and clash against interesting/eccentric characters.

Jigsaw was unfair from the start. In the first movie, he put the key to the guys shackles in the tub with one of them, knowing he'd freak out and make it go down the drain. And he was in the room the whole time forcing them to play the game how he wanted.

Alfa Romeo changes their color formula every couple of years, but the shade of green from the past few years is called "Verde Visconti Metallic". You need to use a dark-ish grey undercoat to get the same look as the stock Alfa Romeos

Yes each of the Suites follow a specific theme, so when you go to join a game, the Suite will let you know what to expect (They went to a Spade game so they should have expected things to get Violent). Spades are games of Strength/Power (a Physical Game), Clubs are Team Games, Diamonds are Mind Games, and Hearts are the games of betrayal like the Witch Hunt

King of Spades is a shooter game just like Arisu mindlessly mowed down helpless AI in his shooter game this is the highest level physical spade game he's not a final boss this is just how his game probably works its like a BR and his position is always revealed . makes sense i guess. Japan should never be doing no gun stuff that's not how guns work you aint full autoing a rifle that big with 1 hand while driving perfectly steady lmao. Their car also had no bullet holes or marks at all after being unloaded into lmao.

i feel that way too. the acting can be cringy because they're taking the anime-style route which doesn't translate well with real people. fans of the series will act like you're in the wrong if you don't like the acting (see above) but a lot of people have complained about it. the premise of the show is fire though so that's enough for me to just bare with it

The acting is cringe and not realistic at all don't let anyone tell you all otherwise. Exaggerated acting and facial expressions etc etc if you watch regular Japanese films and shows especially ones that are acclaimed you would know. I never like these anime centric takes on the acting, and they did a better job in season 1 not sure wtf is going on here. A Japanese person who actually speaks Japanese and lives in the culture would also tell you this isn't normal acting either.
