This hits so close to home. Having my own non contact ligament tear in the ankle when I was playing lacrosse. (The tear happened outside of it though) It really is terrifying to keep going knowing you can lose something you’ve worked so hard for. Mad props to Chigiri’s character writing, cause that “feeling of joy” truly is one of the only things that can keep you going. Wish I woulda had this to look to when going through it myself. Definitely my new fav character!

It’s not that they get to stay too cuz it’s a draw, it’s 4 games for each team and a win is 3 points draw 2 lose 1 and whichever 3 teams have the most get to stay

To be fair, the games are long as hell and the anime only shows the important parts of the match. There's no point in showing every shot that gets deflected unless you do it during a hype moment like this where you see them clutching an important save. Idk though, maybe the anime is showing every play? It does seem like it's mostly continuous. Also like other dude said, homie is a striker not a goalie.

Purposely fouling a player is a tactic used in sports in general. When a player gets in the zone you do what you can to get them out of the zone even if it means fouling them.

It was a Tie so I think both teams had the same overall scores, but remember how the enemy team kept racking up fouls to prevent us from scoring? I think if they count the fouls our Team was the winner, with less fouls.
