There's a TON of trauma to unpack, here. People under similar circumstances can grow up to inherently like the act, as long as they find a way to disassociate the act from the trauma. I wonder if the story dives deeper on his ability to cope with such a past. Hmm... 🤔 lol jk, it won't. It's Too real to write about unless you have experience with such a thing, I'm sure.
