Regardless of how I dislike the overpoweredness of the main characters in this show, I definitely love the artistic elements of the story. Renner's dancing scene is just amazing.

I'm pretty sure she was already a demon. I could be wrong, I haven't watch anime in a long time, or read the light novel, but didn't ghostly ice girl that was guarding the throne room mention something like "you're the "last" human in this castle" when Climb was walking in even though Rennar was also in the castle too, so she was already a demon before? Or at least during the throne room shennigans.

Good boy Mare out here thinking of how to most efficiently kill everyone in the capital without having to chase them down. IIRC the magic item Aura went to fetch from the Magician's Guild was the item Ainz gave to Demiurge in Season 2 during the latter's invasion on the capital. It was a prototype version of an item Ulbert, Demiurge's creator, made for a summoning magic, and was used as bait for Jaldabaoth's reason for the attack. "We don't do power of friendship here. The only power is working with your friends to get all the materials you need. And gacha. Lots of gacha." The ring is something likely made by the Dragon from episode 11. Rigrit, the former leader of Blue Roses, got it at some point, and talked how she had given it to "a promising youngster" (Gazef) in Season 2 Episode 1. Gazef then passed it to Climb during Jaldabaoth's attack as seen in the flashback. It seems to be able to raise the wearer's level by 5, whatever that means ultimately. The Fallen Seeds is a race-change item; it's implied Renner needed negative Karma to be able to change to an Imp (base level demon, both Albedo and Demiurge have levels in it). Remember how she brought food to the orphanage? And how there was talk of poison now? Then there's Climb and "tests of loyalty", as he's poised to use the item as well. In the LN, Renner was "so happy she could burst into a song". The anime took that literally. Too bad no impaled citizens of Philip's domain were shown outside his mansion, presumably to stay TV-safe. And the wait for the movie begins. No release date as of yet. Hope they won't censor much.

I'm anime only, and to me it did not look like Brain just went out there and died. There were obvious visual and dialogue cues to imply what he was possibly thinking. There was also a pretty clear vibe that's very difficult NOT to pick up on.

In the LN Phillip tried to run away and got outside and saw everyone skewered from ass to mouth (novel was very descriptive) abd Albedo essentially called him an idiot for not realizing all his people were dying as he was drinking.

I think what they meant by “the end” was possibly the death of the emperor or even more death compared to all of the past seasons like it might be more graphic and rough🤔 Don’t forget the dark elves are crossdresseder, so they both are dressed as the opossite gender, I guess the girl looks more boyish compared to her brother.

The anime is now caught up with the most recent volume of the light novel (after skipping a cpl volumes) I believe a movie about the previous arc is coming out soon, and there should be one or even 2 seasons left depending on how long the final volumes are.

Volumes 15 and 16 came out in Japan this summer. The movie will cover volumes 12 and 13 which were skipped, taking place between the Dwarf arc and the fall of the Re-Estize Kingdom. The author has said it will probably end on volume 18, but it wouldn't be the first time he's written more than intended.

I decided to skim the chapter to see what was under the blanket. The only extra information in the book is that Rener specifically requested the resurrect Climb WITHOUT healing him in any capacity. So he's presumably just got a huge open gash on his shoulder and maybe a barely working heart.

Now im not a avid LN reader, but i know the movie will cover a large section of the next few chapters? Mainly the Holy kingdom arc which took me awhile to read through. Seems the Anime wants to get to the stronger enemy section and try to skim through the mountain that is the Holy Kingdom. And the Princess signing and dancing is Anime only and i loved it, i remember her saying she wanted to sing and dance in the Ln but never seemed to do so. Hope y'all gonna stay safe through this Hurricane and any following storm.

It seems like there might only be one more season--the movie covers one of the arcs that the anime skipped and other than that the anime is nearly caught up to the books ( think it is caught up to the english translation). From what I can tell, it takes a year or so for them to come out, and the author said he's done in like 3 more books, so I anticipate the final season of overlord will be in like 5 ish years.

yeah its at vol 14 and the writer is only doing a couple more, madhouse decided to continue doing 3-5 vol of novels per season. the next 2 vol are interesting but maybe glazed over so next season will most likely be the last, although the author did feel enthused when seeing the turnout for season 4 after 7 years ,but he's like any other author and ready to write something different. to be fair he did write about 16-17 books already and the anime decided to blaze through them lol i'd be upset

Few things since people seem to be confused or misinterpreting. Also a sick thing for Albedo from the book. 1. Renner was not a demon before, she changed into a demon offscreen with that black box "The Fallen Seed" that Albedo gave her episodes ago. That 2nd fallen seed will be used to turn climb into a lesser demon just like her eventually. Also, Renner looks sooo much better as a demon and she was straight up a disney villain haha! 2. Renner was always a sociopath, it went into it a lot more in the novel but basically she was plagued by being a genius since birth and everyone thought she was a monster. The only one who thought she was normal/looked at her with love was the little orphan boy dying on the side of the road (Climb) and thus her obsession with Climb. She started behaving "normally" all for her plans to have a future with Climb. 3. Renner asked for Climb to be killed, and for him to be resurrected in a way that would keep him weak and stuff temporarily rather than using Nazaricks op resurrection to just bring him back like nothing happened. The reason why is because Renner has always dreamed of doting on Climb and making him love her even more by being his literal savior and caretaker. Oh yeah and if you were confused why she had him leave and stuff. It was so that she could kill her father, and Ainz and the rest of them could have time to enter and make a dramatic appearance so that Climb would be fooled into thinking renner was controlled. 5. It is confirmed that after this, Renner and Climb have lots of "Fun" together and she is happier than she could have ever dreamed. 6. remember, Mare is the boy who wears a skirt. Aura is the big sister who wears boys clothes. Bukubuku chagama was one of the supreme beings who was on the weirder side. She had a huge fetish for traps and so she made both her NPCS traps. Or technically Aura is a reverse trap. 7. SO ya know how Albedo handed Philip his father and the two other baron's heads? Well, that was SO MUCH WORSE in the LN. Instead of handing him their heads. Albedo gently led Philip outside of the house, and it says that the first thing he saw... was a forest. Before his eyes adjusted and he screamed in terror. Every man, woman, and child had been impaled on spikes from their genitals out of their mouths. Every spike was dripping blood and there were so many spikes and villagers it looked like a forest of bodies. Albedo then said that per his father's request, she would gladly make him suffer even worse than they did. 8. There was a chat from Marquis Raven and the other barons that Nazarick allowed to serve them (the guy from season 2 and 3 with Zanac who betrayed Zanac because they threatened his kid) about how he actually has another kid on the way, and there was a small talk about what Ainz would do with the ruined kingdom as all they could see for miles was burnt ruins except for the throne of treasures Ainz sat on. Pretty siiickk 9 and most important. THIS IS NOT THE END OF OVERLORD. There is a movie coming out soon that will be volume 12-13 "The Fall of the Holy Kingdom" that will introduce best Pope and her glaring yet adorable eyes. And volume 16 of Overlord is already out in Japan. Volume 15 and 16 deal with the Elf Kingdom and will bring back the girl with the rubiks cube from season 2 so get ready for some sick stuff. Volume 15 is pretty happy and easy going compared to this one though, so maybe it will be condensed a lot in season 5. So season 5 will most likely be the elf kingdom and then volume 17 and 18 (18 is confirmed to be the final volume of overlord) have not released yet and will probably be a few years.

Gazeff didn't want to be revived while Brain's fate is still up in the air. You never know Cocytus or Sebas might request Ainz to revive him at some point in the future.

Renner was a bonafide sociopath. She mentioned poisoning the soup, which she gave to the kids at the orphanage. She wielded the Razor Edge sword no problem last episode; telling she became a demon long ago when she first talked with Albedo during that nobles' party. Finally the yuki-onna (frost demon) said welcome "last human in the palace" to Climb as the final conformation of Renner's daemonification. This woman is... wow.

I know you guys were curious about the box. As you can see that is what was used to turn Renner into an Imp. The second one is for climb. It's heavily implied in the LN that she raised the children from the orphanage she founded as sacrifices

This was volume 14. The anime skipped 12 and 13 to make them the movie. The show was volume 10 11 and 14. That's why a lot of details were kinda skipped over in the first few episodes

Rip, we didn't see Albedo's interest in gardening and her "forest" :( For clarity, instead of just showing Phillip the heads she dragged him outside by his ear to the front steps. Dude then mistakenly thought a forest had popped up in his lawn, only to realize that the trees had arms and legs. Turns out she had staked every single man, woman and child in his domain outside his house Dracula style. Then even poked fun at him saying they cast a silence spell on his room so he wouldn't hear it, but he was too stupid to notice something was wrong.

may be I will add up some information , its really glad some one sharing about the detail of this anime, there is so much detail is missing on the anime, : 1) there is some theory that said, reiner is sacrifice the kids on orphanage the moment she give some food to them (the poison thing they mention add up to the food, the moment we see about poison on food is they give it to the orphanage ), may be she need some exp or sacrifice to make her become the imp . oh yeah her race now is an imp but albedo said rather than imp she more looks like an succubus . also that's why we can see she can wield the gazef sword, they want to show you the reiner is start to change on her stat. 3) the one who resurrected climb is not ainz but the dog girl one, she has ability to resurrect people . so that's why we can hear her voice when climb is wake up from her death. the different is her resurrection is weaker than ainz so climb wake up in more weaker state . 5) cilmb become reiner's s#x thing on enternity (may be) , on some question asked to maruyama sensei "is climb can meet with sebastian ? he is now one of nazarick " and maruyama said "yes he can, but if only he can get out from that room" ---------- extra : 1) the reason climb wear that flashy white armor so all member nazarick will know that one is reiner's person. 2) there is a monster suppose to appear that will burn the capital, ainz tell to burn all the corpse on capital . sorry if my grammar is bad, and thanks for sharing about the detail on this anime

oh yeah there is some question how about if reiner will betrayer nazarick , the answer is no. when reiner see the ainz him self show up on the drama she made, she think ainz know everything about her plan , and she one of them who get her mental down think how smart ainz is , and reiner think ainz know her weakness is climb . so she wont betray nazarik on the future because of that

Remember when she visited the orphanage before she went to the castle in the previous episode, where the two caretakers thanked her for cooking a meal? And she reminded the two caretakers to eat thier fill as well since Renner knew they were giving their share of food to the children? That was actually her making sure everyone took the poison. We also had that very brief scene where Renner thanked Albedo for taking care of the poison she used. So if you put that and the info that Seeds of the falled required you to have negative karma together...

My favorite line in this episode was when Cocytus' people outside the throne said "Welcome 'Last Human' in this place" and you walk in and RENNER IS RIGHT THERE ON HER KNEE'S So yeah she was already a demon. I believe she becomes a demon immediately following the episode last season when she met Albedo, who gave her the first Tears of the Fallen at the time. The Tears are a Yggdrasil item which allow you to change race to demon, iirc. I believe the first hint we have is when she "reads" Zanacs mind about Marquis Raeven not coming back. May literally have been able to read his mind.

nah she becomes a demon after opening the box given to her by albedo, short version = death of climb was the last thing needed to open the box which then grants you a race change to demon for this item (imp is the starting class for demons based off both albedo and demiurge character sheets, I think that was based off DnD) so anyway Renner become a demon (imp) this ep the thing you spoke of about Marquis Raeven not coming back is because she has Aniz sides information and knew she could get away with saying it to Zanac because he views her as a monster/genius
