wonder if they are going to remember rose from last ep..... and here comes the comic connections rewrites: hector hall is the son of carter hall aka hawkman and he is the super hero silver scarab (who eventurally takes the code name sandman and there is an easter egg to that). lyta is hippolyta jr. aka wonder woman's daughter named after her grandmother, queen of the amazons. code named fury (like the furies of greek myth) she and silver scarabe were members of infinity inc aka teen titans but they all the kids of the JSA. they did with them what they did with john dee aka the super villain dr. destiny: kept their storylines and human names and took out all the dc comics super hero shit. hope we can get a sandman animated something eventually like a dcau film so we could see the endless interact with the dcu. my queendom for a books of magic animated series/film series. sigh

But it's still nice that the actor that they got for the guy who plays the landlord (john cameron mitchell) is known for playing and originating like one of the biggest pop culture drag Queens Hedwig. And I just love that they got Stephen Fry too, literally one of the funniest and smartest actors around

Considering she only gets one scene this whole season, I was kind of disappointed how they did Despair. In the comics she’s a ghastly pale, naked, obese ghoul of a woman who is constantly surrounded by mist and hurting herself with the sharp hook on her finger. This version seems to be avaguely perturbed British lady.

I know my takes controversial but I think this change is kind if the point. In the comics despair I this grotesque monstrous being in comparison to her siblings. Here she is just a homely looking woman riddles with self doubt, looks dirty and likes to cut herself. That's more of an image that the human mind can connect to, something both the audience an the poeple within their world can see as someone in a the state of dispare.

Im so confused on how Jed got put into foster care when his dad died. It sounds like the mom was looking for him in the system before she died. The parents had shared custody so Jed should have gone to his mother and Rose is over 18 so she should be able to get a judge to give her custody of her brother.

No she’s her great-grandmother as said by Unity herself. Unity had a child who was put up for adoption who then had a child herself named Miranda and Miranda is Rose’s mother. So great-grandmother is correct.

About the 'collectors' and The Corinthian - remember Corinthian has been out here killing people since episode 1 when Dream got whisked away in that botched ritual.
