It's interesting how much Shinobu downplays her own emotions in retelling this story, even dismissing her feelings toward her first minion as the suspension bridge effect. Back in Kizumonogatari, she says her first minion was a vampire for 2 years before committing suicide, but she almost completely glosses over their time together here.

It's a testament to how unique this show is when it can get away with just having a character monologue over still images for an entire episode and absolutely nobody complains.

no it should have been friday then he pushed it back a day so we 100% should have gotten it yesterday but the last time thiss happened (which is every other week for monogatari) we got the epiosde on monday
