Loved that talk at the end of the episode

Luhbabytay

She just assuming hanekawa will just take whatever. That just her opinion of her

Omar Bautista

I dint see on the schedule but Dr.Stone dropped its hour special. are you guys planning to watch it or wait for season 3

uolf tenc

Down quilt basically means pillow, so Senjougahara is hinting at wanting to get those nuclear weapons that Hanekawa has and sleep on them

Ice

I recommend watching 3 episodes next week to finish the tsubasa tiger arc if possible.

Isaac

Glad you liked the cooking analogy, Roshi. Most people aren't as extreme as Hanekawa, but the concept is really interesting to consider. It IS important to know what you truly dislike & what you really like.

Acnologia- San

Where that mushoku tensei trailer reaction at?😭😭

uolf tenc

I think the dialogue about the flavor of the food is a clear hint at Hanekawa suppressing her own feelings so much to the point that she just puts up a front of being the clean, proper and plain girl, hence why she cooks "plainly". In reality she's extremely stressed (who couldn't be in her situation) and also, not too related, but she's clearly an erotic person, as shown by her cat form, also a part of herself that she rejects.

Ice

You fool, you boldly assumed that hanekawa isn't a pervert and that there won't be any fanservice! Nah, but on a serious note, there's much less fanservice in hanekawa's story than in araragi's. In this case, senjo is literally stripping herself naked, so it's not really hanekawa's fault. For other characters (I won't spoiler who), there's pretty much no fanservice whatsoever. And even in hanekawa's story, it's not really her fault.

wavyesper

All the dynamics in this series are amazing, it only gets better from here

wavyesper

sadly they don't really react to trailers, csm, batman, and sonic are a few exceptions

samuel

kinda crazy how Monogatari makes a conversation about food seasoning have a deeper meaning

Danny

can yall watch Legend: a Dragon ball sotry with lupa please! it's only 10 minutes long

Fan Daze

I believe they will react to it let's just be patient & see

Tele

Yup, in Kizu novels too remember how araragi n hanekawa met bc he saw her underwear? The novels had it be generic plain white womens underwear and araragi stated it "lacked personality and character", basically same analogy Senjou just used but horny lol

None None

I like that the characters have subtly different vibes in this arc because Hanekawa is narrating. She's way frumpier than usual and has droopy eyes in a lot of shots. Meanwhile, Senjougahara comes off as almost tomboyish with her athletic and confident body language, while she's generally a lot "prettier" in other arcs (she's also able to stand around in her underwear without the camera doing dramatic sweeping shots of her body every 5 seconds). Even though Araragi sees Hanekawa as the embodiment of pure sex, you can tell she considers lower on the ranking than Senjougahara.

Casey Hedge

Yeah it's just a matter of time. Although I'll admit I'm eager for their reaction 😁

Day 3 asking to react to Blood Blockade Battlefront

Kriolemansus

In many Asian countries there isn't really such a thing as breakfast food. While there may be a couple foods that are standard for breakfasts there aren't really any foods that are only eaten for breakfast (and no other meals) such as bacon and eggs or pancakes in the US.

by chances

The wait was worth it.

lyssa

Not my favorite arc tbh one of my least fave but I’m sure it will be better rewatching it with you guys

Etsch

Are you guys going to watch the dr stone special episode?

Julius

Do they watch Ms. Marvel?

Infinity

i actually hated this conversation because its hypocritical of senjou to say what she's saying. She herself admitted anyone could of offered her help and saved her it didnt have to be araragi and she would of fell for them. Shes basically saying hanekawa doesn't actually like him because she would of liked any boy who gave her the time of day like he did at the time. which is obvious hypocritical AF lol.

by chances

Yes, as of in Japan, there are mainly two kinds of breakfast people usually get. One with breads and one with rice. Also, that was like 2 PM when they had that rice ass breakfast, so that's technically not really a breakfast.

Mari

Nah they don’t and I really don’t want them too anymore from what I have seen 😂

Devin B

True but she also admitted that she was glad that the person she fell for was Araragi. With anyone else she probably would've had that initial feeling for them if they helped her but along the way she would lose feelings for them. With Hanekawa she would just take whatever and be contempt with it.

Wiz

Anyone else want them to watch KENGAN ASHURA

Danny

Also Senjou atleast HAS a reason to like him. Senjou is "Boy was nice to me= I like boy". Hanekawa is "Boy exist= I like boy". And Hanekawa even said herself she doesn't know why but she started just liking him before they even met officially during the golden week thing. which isn't really a bad thing. I think both character's feelings are valid and don't have to be justified to anyone but themselves. But senjou's whole thing was are you SURE you like my mans or do you just think you like him? It's a respectable question in this awkard messy situation. Imagine KNOWING one of your friends is in love with your BF and they hang out all the time. Senjou is being tame tbh, if she didn't like Hanekawa as a friend she would have already stapled the bitch lol.

Mari

I do but I feel like in this community there’s not many people who has interest in fighting/martial arts/ hands getting thrown type of anime(personal opinion)

Mari

The last anime I remember them watching where straight hands were getting thrown was Jujutsu Kaisen and that was like a year ago and god of high school and that was like 3 years ago 😂

earthphoenix7068

The Korean manhwas focus on a lot of hands but they don't have too many adaptations. Also in Jujutsu they mostly use the curses except ya boi.

Ice

Have you watched kizu? Hanekawa definitely has reason to like ayanokoji. He literally saved her life bruv.

Devin B

@V-IceCP but aside from him saving her it doesn't seem like she has any other reason to like him except for that. At that point anyone could've saved her and she would've just fell in love with them. It was the same for Senjougahara but she said she's glad it was Arararagi that saved her meaning she likes Araragi for who he his aside from the fact he saved her.

Mirrorline

Yeah? Just insult asian food culture like that? Lmaooo

HIM

Whaaat? As if ALL of rttv's fans didn't make up 1/3rd of Roshi's fans 😆😆 They'd love more action, but can appreciate other aspects of storytelling too. Castlevania and Arcane are just hard to come by lol

Oh Alone

We put soy sauce on fried eggs because we eat that egg with rice or some tasteless carbohydrate, not by itself. Plz Try some

Drake Rage

The food analogy being used to highlight Hanekawa's issues/problems was very good indeed. She is an Angel; She is Good to a fault, like Oshino had said before to Araragi. It is basically impossible to live that way, to be able to accept anything and everything that comes at you, and it is hard to see Hanekawa be like that. (Like when Senjougahara ended up slapping Hanekawa repeatedly while crying because Hanekawa didn't ask anyone for help, she just grabbed a cardboard box and some newspapers and went to live in an abandoned building like it was no big deal.)

chou sion

after araragi's downbadness, she might have the most issues bruh
