Rewatching the gang reaction to the first ep of S1, the OST when the title rolls always warrant a reaction from them back then and even now in S2, that's the Made in Abyss made me wet smooth ass OST magic

I haven't finished the episode yet, but I just realized that they are showing those people from probably a LONG time ago because they have said that time moves a lot slower the deeper you go... so even if new Cave Raiders from far into the future go deep, they might find these people of the distant past still being alive.

in one of the newer episodes they said that they had been down there for around 150 years but when they got to the island it was actually close to 1900 years ago. So in the 6th layer, time goes by more than 12x slower than on the surface.
