What you're talking about is Munchausen by proxy. It's when a parent (normally) makes a child sick or fakes an illness in order to get attention. It's normally a mother and child thing but it doesn't have to be.

Renner is by far my fav character in this anime. There is also nobody else like her. She is not intimidating in terms of strength but she is so smart and fucked in the head that it just creeps you out and keeps you interested.

There is a spin-off Light Novel where Ains came into this world 100 years earlier and he came alone without the rest of Nazarick. In that one he teams up with Evil-eye who had just been turned into uhhh... into what she is now (its a spoiler if you don't already realize it). Sort of hurts to see here that he wants to kill her here when they're best friends under different circumstances.

She is insanely obsessed with climb, she is one of the smartest characters in the show(outside nazarik) and is so mentally screwed in the head that she has horrid intentions behind her actions that many people cant see. She's one of the best characters in the series

You gotta remember the original Overlord web novels came out in the very late 00s. A few years before it, there was a series called School Days that's pretty notorious for having a girl who's more than a bit crazy. There was a HUGE influx of yandere characters around that time because of it, so it's not surprising Overlord worked one in somewhere. It's similar to how chuunibyou girls started to become overdone after Chuu2 or quiet, emotionless girls who look like Rei from Eva were an entire character type for a while.

If we want to be specfic, that's actually an old term. The current diagnosis is Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another. Another "fun" fact is that there is some debate about it being a true clinical entity vs the parent being a psychopath, as it is essentially only diagnosed in cases of child abuse, and ends up becoming a legal defense. More on topic, Overlord Hype! Man I love this show.

I was originally a little worried that this was going to turn into a harem anime when Evileye started obsessing over Momon, but it's probably that she's just a vampire. She doesn't know that he's undead, but a part of her probably still senses a kinship with him. Like he's the first impressive fellow undead she's met in a very long time.
