I do make sense. The anime is terrible. There is nothing special about it. I watched the whole thing and nothing was a surprise because you just know what’s gonna happen next. You guys reacting to kakegurui caught me off guard and if you guys enjoy this show you should check out kaiji ultimate survivor aswell it is actually the much better "psychological gambling" show out of the 2 but it's overlooked because of it's animation style + a fun fact: kaiji is the basis for squid game and you will notice immediatly aswell.

I genuinely enjoy her prequel spinoff manga more than source because since Mary is the protagonist you get to actually grasp her thoughts during the games which makes them more engaging to me than Yumeko being an enigma wrapped in a mystery. Also Mary’s still pretty based so it’s easy to root for her.
