I haven't heard about this show but dam I am here for this. I love horror. My running theory with the girl that "died" is she isn't dead but maybe hiding. In the dream she said come find me. Then with how the old man explained the shadow stuff I think she killed her shadow but might be hiding from the sisters shadow now since it said it will kill everyone in the house. I could be way off but I think she isn't dead.

Well, while it is old, there is a lot of older anime with great animation. The problem is, it was done b mother fucking studio DEEN. One of the worst studios there is. The only good thing they did was mostly Konosuba and that is because you don't need great animation with it. Still, great anime for story-wise. Keeps you guessing throughout season 1.

I don't know if anybody else has already said this yet but Summertime Rendering actually started serialization in 2017 before US in 2019 so if anything US could've been inspired by Summertime Rendering. It's also a fair assumption to say 2 people had similar ideas lol
