Late cuz I only just finally watched this show, but to be fair, not taking roof kid's word for it would have been a terrible move from their PoV. If some kid, who as far as I know has ZERO reason to lie, says no one else is alive, I'm not going down there and putting myself in that position with only ONE other soldier as backup. 2 guns vs. hundreds of infected, the infected are gonna win eventually.

Honestly her not going out initially was the right move. Ya'll can't forgive her. You think the other students could? Course not. She gives the food and then what? They keep her around? Nah. It's annoying that it ends up not benefitting the characters we're rooting for, but it makes no sense for her to have gone out. It would be a death sentence. Even if they wanted to improve, or make amends. They couldn't.

Having said that I dont agree with the part where you guys went after the soldiers for taking the kids word. Logically why wouldnt they? He has no reason to lie. And it's not like they are going to go in the school and gun down every single zombie just to check if someone is still alive. It's just 2 or 3 soldiers even if they are armed. We already saw how a single zombie can take down that many if it's able to get a jump on them. Its like hundred zombies down there

Gabi was a child soldier, which already requires heavy brainwashing and desensitizing, being fed a narrative that she had to see was false and change accordingly. She only shot Sasha because for once, the narrative started to look like reality when these fabled "devils" pulled up and killed the whole block Ol girl was looking down on a less fortunate dude, killed him because people liked him more for the sake of trying to look "right," and then hid out of shame and fear rather than admitting the wrong and helping the people she screwed over and just holding the L of whatever they might say or do. They not the same. What she did would be like if Gabi killed Falco for challenging her worldviews and then doubled down o justify herself but then tries to join to stop the rumbling but got stepped on instead when Eren transformed and the walls fell.

So how can Gabi be considered redeemable but Nayeon isnt? Plus we dont know enough to to say ol girl was genuinely bad. We just know she's a product of her upbringing JUST LIKE GABI.
