Pretty sure they said that "Goff," aka the leader of the butterflies, is a "she" due to having a vagina. I wanna say that she actually lowkey developed a bond with Peacemaker, and that's somehow gonna come into play in his favor. It seems she's still aiming for world domination, but maybe she's gonna want Peacemaker to be her mate or some shit, and/or maybe in a dire situation she'll have his back.

I binged it last week so I could watch the reactions with Roshi & Sheera and do not regret it at all. Easily one of the best Netflix originals. The show manages to be tense every episode for 4 seasons it's great.

Waller had her plant the diary, so she could get him back on the Suicide Squad after all was said and done. I don't think Adebyo knew about what was in the diary.

I had a theory some weeks ago that the intro dance is a big foreshadow of them all having butterflies at one point in the series, except Vigilante (how he's the only one dancing very energetically compared to the rest. Seeing what happens now i think i was right. Vigilante will be one of the people without one because they emphasized how butterflies enter the body through orifices, and Vigilante is the only one with a costume that covers him up completely.

So the mass butterfly invasion reminded me of Slither, and it led me to realize that he's written three movies and now one TV show where a bunch of people get taken over by creepy CG entities: Scooby Doo the live action movie, Slither, The Suicide Squad, and now Peacemaker. That's a weirdly specific plot point to be repeating, and now I'm wondering if it's him recycling, a coincidence, or something he really... likes to see personally ~_~

yall definitely havent read any comics with folks who can control animals lol this is so not new or shocking lol falcon's red wing in the comics is an ACTUAL bird and he (falcon) has telepathic avian powers so he can control all birds. then you got shapeshifters who become animals and attack or folks like nature girl and wonder woman to name a few who can talk to animals and have them help out in battle. this was expected. eagley is his sidekick like redwing to falcon and krypto to superman. i was just waiting for them to let him do battle. SWEET!

The only thing I hate about the writing is the nonsense tangents the dialog veers off into for LONG PERIODS OF TIME. Like how they talk about simple stupid stoner comedy shit for what feels like 10 straight minutes until actual plot happens.

Ngl this episode annoyed me a bit. I love the humor in this show but I hate when the plot gets overturned for a gag, like if Chase is that stupid how has he not been caught yet? And I was actually interesting in those side characters. To have them all get clapped off of that is mad annoying imo

You can think about it this way. He is stupid, but he was also cautious enough. Peacemaker is his weakness, and that just doesn't mesh well with Vigilante's stupid. He'd never been in enough danger for that stupid to get him in trouble, and any risky situations he was in before he would just kill without hesitation. I'm totally sttttreeeeeettttccchhhhiiinnnggg the logic though haha

Tbf, the only time they would be able to tell peacemaker the real deal about Murn is between the mansion mission and the factory mission, but they didn't trust him yet. His talk with harcourt about not killing people, only aliens also probably means they will still delay telling him about it as he might kill him right after hearing it.

its not that he is stupid, like peacemaker said he has mental challenge issues. maybe he's on the spectrum? i mean look at batman's villains: they are all criminally insane and seem to do very well so why not vigilante? also: plot armor lol especially when it comes to comic book shit its best to not take logic too seriously. i know its hard cause in real life im like you, if its not making sense/logic im pissed/frustrated to no end lol IRKSOME! but for a show (within reason) i just enjoy. unless its crap, then i rip it apart lol

I think what Jacey was saying is that since Peacemaker has a bomb in his head, he might feel obligated to tell Waller about Murn cause he knows that if Waller finds out that he knew and didn't tell her, she might blow his head open.
