Yen's whole deal is less about specifically wanting to be a mother, and more that she does not like not being able to. Yen wants everything, she wants no limitations placed on her, and to be able to do whatever she wants. She lost the ability to have kids? Now she wants that option back.

definitely should check out nightwing ongoing from the 90s/early 2000s. if you dont want to go back that far the current book is really good to. start with issue 78, that starts the current run by tom taylor. FIRE. there is also the titans together book. that focuses more on superboy but its the team from the titans live action show. welcome to the funny books family

A bit of a book spoiler but Geralt's wish in the books has been implied to be to bound his destiny with Yenefer which means that he will die alongside her. Since a djin can't kill its master it's kind of a loophole. The games more or less confirm this.

Not really a spoiler but it is possible for a sorceress to be fertile. It's just that a lot of them lose their fertility as a by product of using magic.

Fun fact, Jaskier’s name translates from Polish as “Buttercup.” When the books were first localized they thought it was a bit too feminine and named him “Dandelion,” which stuck for the books and games.
