Anonymous

His name is Geralt not Jerald. Geralt lol.

Sera

They know. They're just messing around

WolfEatZombies

So what's the new big monday show that's replacing Cobra Kai?

LeFlaneur

Caught myself saying Witcha with an “a” instead of with the hard “er” 😬

Sun

A lonely day for drops. No Peacemaker, no Cobra Kai, nothing. All Tenshi's fault cause he's my son.

Darren Banks

That Mick Jenkins reference 😂

yaboyroshi

The replacements have already begun, everything is just spread out more across the week. Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan would normally fall on Monday but we started getting those out on Sunday. Makes Monday feel lonely

Anthony

Can all three of you PLEASE react to archive 81. It’s a very good horror show on Netflix and I think y’all could finish it fast

Sun

They've watched it on their own time.

Teyon Alexander

Marry, enslave, raise as your own or kill - point is, the kid is his to do with as he wants

Kingmakaii

So you telling me this nigga got that entire kingdom clapped cuz he ain’t wanna claim that baby LMAO

Temeculous

Can you watch man in the high tower, the americans, or orphan black?

Ohais

you just have to search 'schedule' and look for the most recent one. Or scroll all the way back

hector torres

Any more uploads tonight

Ohais

I'll save you the time Sunday - Attack on Titan Monday -Demon Slayer, The Witcher (x1), Peacemaker Tuesday - The Witcher (x1), Komi CC (x2), Ousama Ranking (x1) Wednesday - Harley Quinn (x2), No Game No Life (x2) Thursday - Toradora (x2), 86 (x1) Friday - Ass Class (x2), 86 (x1) Except Demon Slayer has moved to Sundays now, and Peacemaker days will probably change since they next one airs Thursday

Andre

Double drops of Witcher is the answer Roshi 😁

logan

bro what is they'll never believe you from

hix

“y’all knocked out all the electricity with your little stunt” what electricity? 🤣

Smash Bran'Discootch

If it helps to place Yen's timeline a little better: The chick that cut the dude open and read his guts? Yeah, she was one of Yen's classmates. She went through training and ascended at the same time as Yen. She's the one who got stuck with Nilfgard when Yen started wilin' and took the king she was originally gonna be assigned to.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Nah, it's less Geralt's fault and more Queen Calanthe(i totally spelled that wrong)'s fault. It'll go into it more in later episodes and i wont spoil anything.

DamienW.

So basically nothing else is dropping today 😂😂😂

Vsquad

Ciri followed a voice and ended up in Wakanda 😂😂

LeFlaneur

I feel Witcher is too lore heavy and the runtime too long to have more drops in a week.

Anonymous

Does anyone know if you can switch the membership to 10$ instead and if so how?

britt

if you go on the patroon browser and log in go to my membership next to posts and you should be able to change it there

Carlos

The Americans....my man. Such an underrated show.

rickie woodson

nah, they cant take the forest just like that. thats why they said they would need 10k soldiers, maybe 12k. brooklyn forest aint no joke

Ohais

I think you're right. I think it's one 86 a week now, but I don't know which day

yaboyroshi

Mondays are gonna be lonely lol. Originally we intended Demon Slayer, Peacemaker and Witcher but were wrong with the Peacemaker release schedule and yall bullied us into Demon Slayer on Sundays lol

hector torres

What about movie mondays is that coming anytime

sotonye ogan

Please where does lupa get that "they will never believe you" shit i wanna know bruh 😂😂

Oscar

itll just charge you the difference from whatever tier you are at so dont worry about it charging anything extra

Weltall Gaia

A lot of the monsters and events that happen in the witcher universe/show/books/games are a direct spin on old fables and myths. To the point where it actually is a fae world in which a whole mess of ancient european people got teleported in from our world.

Cody Braim

If Duny was already a knight when he saved the king and Pavetta wasn't even born yet then there's a huge gap in their ages. Kind of sus.

yaboyroshi

Its a joke we came up with a couple years ago after seeing a meme. It said something along the lines of “imagine your dog looks at you and speaks and all he says is “they’ll never believe you” 😂😂 we are stupid as fuck a lot of the bullshit we say is a bunch of dumb inside jokes

Jaze

This is all I could think of during that whole scene.

JsnSkg

Oh boy, here we go again. "dO sOmEtHiNg!" She clearly is, she's checking her surroundings to see what the fuck is going on around her lmao. That's what you do when shit suddenly happens out of nowhere and you have no idea what is going on, especially if you're in such a small isolated space. Imagine if she acted impulsively like you wanted her to, and she got stabbed as soon as she stepped out. That would've probably been you in that situation, because you would panic and act irrationally and impulsively, because you feel you have to "do something."

UI

it's also a joke from a show called Brooklyn 99. Idk if you guys have ever watched it but its fucking hilarious. I know that's not what you guys were referencing but that's what I first thought of.

Nugby

ok good, so its not just me, lol, dude always has something negative to say and takes everything way too seriously

Andre

Not like we're not enjoying No Game no Life, it is what it is now

Solivigant Kaiba

Ok so all I will say is that Law of Surprise doesn't equate to being betrothed if the surprise is a child. For Duny and Pavetta it just so happened that they fell in love rather than any other platonic relationship. The Law of Surprise dictates that a man save by another is bound to give them a reward in the form of something they own but do not know they have. Say that hypothetically, a stranger saves Roshi from a life or death situation and they claim The Law of Suprise, Roshi is now bound to give the starnger something he does not know he has. It could be a donut Sheera went to buy while he was out or their next child (Roshi + Sheera) would then be given to the stranger, who could become their guardian/friend/lover when they come to claim years later or however long later. Make sense? Just an added note to this long a$$ comment, in Slavic mythology, The Law of Surprise was originally a form of payment for a devil's service.

A Deadly Dingus

bruh ik this dude literally lives off these reactions and nitpicks everything. Argues/bitches with multiple creators but i guess ultimately he is still payin em. Bro not everyone has watched these shows 1000+ times unlike yourself chill and touch grass.

mkFerg24

"Nah, if it was Wonkru she wouldve been clapped already" Ayyoo 🤣🤣😂

Wrëck

5:42 roshi and the bard laughing was synced lmao

GenDroid

Dune?? maybe with the elder blood

PolarToni

it's a tv show about monsters, witches, magic, elves, and destiny. This paragraph is unneeded

Riku

Ugh all of yennefer’s scenes this episode are too good

Kevin

I think if you where 13, you where an adult in the medival ages. Both boys and girls. I am not sure how different it is in this fantasy world

Wrëck

It’s a meme they saw lol awhile ago they say it in the avatar reactions or I think the first time they mentioned it was in the akumada drive reactions

DragGuard

Fun facts witchers age very slowly. In present time Geralt should be around his 70s or 80s I believe. Also the chick with the baby keeps puking because supposedly when you walk through a portal you lose all senses and once through to the other side they come back but it hits all at once really harshly.

Dyno

The Law of Surprise is simply that instead of payment for a service performed, typically saving someone's life or killing a monster, they get to take the next thing you go home and acknowledge, the literally first thing you see. It could be literally anything, because you didn't pay for services rendered, and so you will lose possession of something else at random. Geralt called the Law of Surprise for saving Duny's life, and the next thing Duny happened to acknowledge is his now pregnant wife. Hence, Geralt now gets possession of their daughter, Ciri.

Asellian

FIRAGA!!! LOL

Anonymous

I just assumed the baby died cos she couldn't handle all the portals, seeing as the mother kept throwing up.

Yanpo

The show at least waited until she was an adult before they even met for the first time, and it didn't even seem like he even had any intents on wooing her, just getting to know her.

Darby

Your intro is so damn sick but it always starts at max volume and I remember one second too late. RIP my ears lol

LeFlaneur

Deepest apologies to Sapkowski, but it's Brooklyn Forest now. It's canon.

Carlos Jones

Damn this dude always has the most braindead takes that ignore that these are initial reactions. There are only one or two other Roshi commenters who have a more dire need to touch grass, which is saying something.

mkFerg24

When Pavetta met Duny he had a regular face. He was recursed after they slept together for the first time.

Thilde

Pavetta is definitely way too young in the books, I think they thankfully aged her up here

Thilde

I'm pretty sure it did get stabbed, there was blood on the wrapping

Daniel Borrego

the law of suprise. i think i've seen this on the maury povich show multiple times

kuroihana

Super roach said Hassou Tobi on those carriage guards

2022-01-27 11:29:18 What happened was that said bloodline's Defense Matrix activated when the Queen shank boogaloo'd the dude, essentially triggering some apocalypse tier boogaloo automated chanting defense system, which overwrites the source's own will until the threat is gone (think of like Sorcerers/Sorceresses in D&D, where their magic is based on instinct, unlike every other type of caster who either studies for it, or gets it from a sugardaddy/mommy (good or evil, irrelevant, they gain power from their chosen sugardaddy/mommy, as true with Warlocks as it is with Paladins/Templars/Priests, as well as with Druids)) Also I assume at the end that that was what the Brokilon "Forest" used to look like at the start, since she drank some World Tree sap or some shit like that, so I assume that's the tree whose sap she drank, so the tree is sensing her blood is fucky wucky, and asking her what she is? World Trees in most mythologies can talk in theory, just like dragons can via telepathy or by shifting into a humanoid form as they tend to do in most fantasy settings w/ shit like that

EZ

rickie woodson

rewatch before episode 5. but the geralt cut

MrPoseidon

I also think that the Law of Surprise has to do with something you didn't know you have or owned. I know its sort of different in the books but the way they are portraying it in the show makes it seem like if you wife bought you a bottle of wine and you didn't know you had it at home and someone else saves your life, claiming law of surprised then when you get home and realize you had something you never knew about then it would belong to the other person. Cause I know in the book, its exactly as the way you are telling it since thats how most Witchers get children and bring them to Kaer Morhen to become witchers

Dyno

Neither the show or the game change it up here. If the law of surprise is called, then you go home and grab the first thing you find. That’s the payment. Could be a random bottle of wine, could be your child you’ve raised for 6 years.

DragGuard

The baby did, the senses thing just messed the lady to the point where she did puke.

The Pebble

Geralt has been famous for a long time, Jaskier didn't make that happen lol and I'm mad Lupa was surprised by it, Mr I'vePlayed3 lol

Jigga Man

She's literally about to find Ymir 😂😂😂

Spearbearer Josh

I think its more like, whatever happens, they can chalk it up as "destiny" in order to make sense of all the chaos

Spearbearer Josh

im confused, its so vague though, whats the timeframe between the doughnut or the child surprise? Is it the first surprise that happens after the deal or is it the surprise claimed when its declared? It seems like the former happened to Pavella and the latter happened to Geralt. or am I overthinking it

Joey Zero

You're saying that as if a 40 year old can't be with 20 year old by today's standards. Now imagine the Middle ages when grown men were marrying children for status and politics. This situation is actually not even weird compared to other things.

Lupa is Dadi

Oh no....100 comments, I hope most of them are good

Youngmamba

Aye i fully get and kind of agreed with the queen lol why should I give a fuck what somebody else promised and how do we even know he's not lying. But nah as rulers I wouldn't have budged lol I would have told her as cool you want this nigga then yall can both be happy..... somewhere else, get the fuck out my kingdom lol bro would have been a porcupine man forever lol

Drake Rage

Bless your Heart, Lupa. Somebody needs to give him the talk about the Birds and the Bees to help him understand how pregnancy happens. The man was losing his mind trying to understand what happened, lol.... smh.
