Gilgamesh in fate is the one who initially had all the weapons and treasures, those weapons then were handed out to the people and eventually found themselves in the hands of other heroes. That’s the FGO explanation. Another reason he has so many Noble Phantasm’s is because since he is the archetype of heroes, that means every other myth came after him and was in some way based on him (not actually though) because of this, he has all the prototype versions of every noble phantasm.

True but, during the Prologue Archer gives one to Rin, while in Episode 2 Shirou stores one away in his drawer. Which he gives back to Rin and leads to this conversation.

I don't get why thought it was so strange in that scene with Shirou, Rin, and Lancer? Man put his foot down for the woman he loves, given the vibe he got from Lancer, who was giving Rin a few too many mushy compliments than Shirou cared for. Completely understandable. Maybe y'all weren't actually paying attention to the subs and missed some shit, as per usual lol.

it aint about saying no Shirou is literally going thru survivors guilt and PTSD from what happened. He has no value of his own life and only values others and has a Martyr complex. This man would trade his life for anyone at anytime if the opportunity appeared. Gilgamesh owns EVERY CREATION OF MAN. All his sword he launching at people are noble phantasms of other heroes. He wasn't lying when he said in Zero that he has the true grail because he does. Hes literally basically the embodiment/king of humanity. He's the ORIGINAL hero/myth story in human history meaning he's the origin of all heroes/myths so he has all of their weapons at his disposal. Yall never read about Gilgamesh in school lol?

Also the heart pendant is the giveaway you guys have speculated. I think at the end of the episode, Rin was explaining that since only one of those pendants exists, and she already left it with Sheera at the beginning, how would Archer have the same pendant.

The problem was the timing of the whole thing cause there's more important things to worry about than a spirit hitting on someone who isn't officially your girl. Roshi and them understood what was going on but it wasn't important considering they're in a war.

I remember in the VN and old movie adaption, Gilgamesh just walked up and pulled her heart out while she was still alive, Kano-style. It was even still pumping and spurting blood all over everything in the movie. Must have decided that wouldn't fly on Japanese TV and toned it down. (first time watching this version)

The point Rin wanted to make was that "there is only one of this pendant." Remember in the beginning Archer gave Rin a pendant, but then a couple episodes back Shirou gave the exact same pendant to Rin. The one Shirou gave Rin is the one Rin used to heal and save Shirou from the stab wound Lancer gave him. The mystery is where did the pendant Archer gave Rin come from.

You misunderstood what she said about the pendant. She basically told him, only one pendant exists. Archer returned one to me, but you still had yours, it means Archer is you from the future.

I forgot how this episode ends with Rin legit being like "If you're too dumb to have figured it out by now, that's on you" to both the audience and Shirou. Also since they don't really go too in depth in the anime regarding Kuzuki's backstory that you expressed interest in, short and sweet he's from an organization that makes the ultimate assassins. They raise a child to become an absolute master in all assassination techniques and only exist to assassinate one person each and then commit suicide. Kuzuki was defective more or less and didn't do the suicide bit and has pretty much ever since been searching for a meaning/motivation much like Kirie.

The ending of this ep made me think that Rin was saying "hey there's only supposed to be one of these but my servant had one too" like she gave him the pendant and Archer being his reincarnation or whatever had one of his own when summoned as a servant. In a setting with so much magic flying all over the place, someone telling me "there's only supposed to be one of this" just tells me that someone conjured up a copy or, more likely, that the "one-of-a-kind" claim was a lie. I know that's not the case here, but that is what every other show does. If heroic spirits can come from the future, why aren't they showing up with greater frequency? There should be some extremely overpowered shit in the future. Not to mention all the fictional power houses that should exist in the future fiction. Everything that has shown up, whether historical or fictional has originated in the past. It's a strange leap to assume that Archer would be an exception. This would mean assuming that the rules that mages have been working with for however long the Grail War has been around have been wrong or the show has been intentionally obtuse with the rules given to the viewers to set up the twist.

From what I understand there needs to be a 'catalyst' to summon a hero, would be difficult to find a catalyst if it doesn't yet exist and/or you don't know what it is being that it to summon a future hero/servant. In Rin's case on top of the weird time stuff that was happening at her house she was the one who would save shirou's life with the pendant which was probably the catalyst for her summoning him. Brain farts 2.0

Babylonia is a part of grand order. Grand order is definitely rlly good too. Im kinda a fate fan I like all of them I think. Absolute favorite characters are Karna(fate/apocrypha), gilgamesh(stay night, grand order), semiramis(apocrypha), Quetzalcoatl(grand order), Nero(last encore), francis drake(last encore). Idc what people say Apocrypha was absolutely amazing when you actually understand what is going on and know the rules of the grail war very well. Grand order is even more amazing, Fate/Grand Order is a must watch for sure!
