Random, but those types of karaoke places exist in the US as well. At least in Texas, if you look up a Korean karaoke place, it is like that. Each party has their individual rooms with a book of songs to choose from. However since it usually is Korean own, only certain songs are in their system but enough for a group to enjoy themselves for hours. Based off experience haha

Switch is an SAO tactic. Kirito taught it to Asuna when they partied up the first time. Literally just switching positions and who is attacking but if done at the right time seems to be a counter attack with more damage.

Movies not canon but for some reason the anime director decided it be a good idea to throw the characters from this into alicization even tho they arent suppose to be. Its also random AF when it does happen and is over really quick and you're like wtf was the point of that? which is basically what we all asked.
