ok if you guys can take violet evergarden, then watch acendance of a bookworm :D i would say its pacing is much 'faster' even though its not really. myne has a ton of personality though and her OCD like obsession with books can be hilarious at times. It also has very subtle but amazing world building. also both end of seasons are pure fire!

This is a nice little anime. If you like this, you might also enjoy Moribito. It's an absolute work of art. It's based on the first book of a series that's about a warrior that has set upon herself a mission of atonement for the 10 honorable lives that were taken to save her life when she was a child. So she's dedicated her life to saving and protecting people in order to atone. They've only translated the first two books in the series, so I don't know how her story ends, but the anime itself doesn't leave any open threads aside from her own personal story. So you won't come out of it feeling like there's any unanswered questions although you might come out wanting to know how the rest of her story continues.
