Ogata feeling regrets?

Comments

Anonymous

Ogata got really sick because he hunkered down in that Russian sniper’s sight all night and constantly ate snow to avoid his breath being seen to make him think the one he saw is a decoy.

The "dummy" that Vasily (the Russian sniper) thought was a decoy was Ogata the whole time. He baited Vasily into thinking that there was no way an expert sniper could make obvious mistakes like showing himself and his position in plain view.

art has improved so much since the 1st season!

Ogata is a really interesting character.

Rosie

Wow no matter what terrible things Ogata does I just can't seem to hate his character. He has a lot of depth

The Russian Empire controlled Poland at the time of Emperor Alexander's assassination in 1881 and there was a great deal of political unrest in Poland, especially in the 1860s. It sounds like Wilk and Kiroranke were Polish dissidents who were born at or around the time of the January Uprising of the mid-1860s and were brought up as a next generation of insurgents. You're not a terrorist at 15 without being brought up in it.

While Wilk is half-Polish, he and Kiroranke are more dissidents who joined the People's Will for the sake of the natives (also oppressed culturally and politically as minorities). Wilk was raised in a Karafuto Ainu village and Kiroranke is an Ainu as well I believe.

Ogata was literally in the same place where Vitali was looking at the whole time, Ogata wasnt moving at all and was eating snow the whole time, thats how he got a fever. This episode made me fell in love with Ogata, such a fucking badass, one of the best villians.
