I see what hes tryna do but its sooo unethical

I think that they're not copies of souls at this point but completely artificial souls that extended from the copies. I don't think they'd be able to copy over 80,000 souls of children without someone catching on. I could be wrong though

J. J.

You're correct. Alice, Eugeo etc are all children of AI's who were children of other AI's dating back to when their world was first created and copies of arctificial fluclates were first implanted. The only "real" fluctlights are the people who dive into the system from the real world.

Reign

lol its not a game for the last time. Its literally a completely artificial world you can't think of it as a game because its not they have to eat/drink you can reproduce and have children and even lose limbs and die. This is basically simulation theory in anime form. These are all technically real Human souls living inside a virtual space.

Anonymous

Didn't they already know that? like they're just calling it a "game" but they also know it's a simulation, they're not stupid Mr. Intelligent.

Kinsmoke

It's semantics dude, life (as in reality) is a game. It's all subjective so trying to put your interpretation out there as fact is kind of laughable. Especially when the author of this story has had their characters in world refer to it as a game. It's a fringe science, the lines aren't meant to be clear.

Devin B

They had it on there list of anime to watch so they should be reacting to it eventually.

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

Oh ok cool I just watched the anime today so I wanted to see if they’d react to it. Thanks for letting me know.

This might sound dumb but can someone help me understand how they’d use the Als/A.L.I.C.E.S as weapons for war. How can they be weapons of war or harm people in general if they are stuck in a virtual world that is not connected to the internet. I can understand something along the line of a Jarvis from Iron man being able to do harm because he has access to the web but idk how a complete version of ALICE would.

Devin B

I don't think what you said was dumb at all. From what I assume they might try to pull a Tony Stark and create an Ultron of their own by putting the AIs into robot/Android bodies in an attempt to have an army made up of artificial human intelligence soldiers.

Ace Overton

Basically what Devin said. Once you get AI that can kill on command, you can insert them into robots, tanks, airplanes, etc. Then you have immortal soldiers that are expendible. If you don't have to worry about losing lives, what stops you from waging war with anyone all of the time? Even over the span of ten years, you can start to burn through any nations army with a constant army attacking

Ace Overton

Basically it would be like finding out that our world currently is nothing but a massive simulation being run on a mainframe and we weren't actually real, just in the game.

2021-07-09 04:03:33 Imo it's not really that fucked up. That seems like an exaggeration to say. Like with many things in life, fiction or non-fiction, you can't just classify this as black & white or good vs evil. It's a lot more complicated than that, and there's a lot of gray area.

Black mirror made an episode of this whole ai concept and it was trippy

How would they make them able to beam in & out of the platforms, tho? I doubt you could make something as data-heavy as a Soul, requiring specialist tech, into able to wirelessly transfer out of a rekt platform into w/e they store them when not inside combat platforms, then beamed to a new platform and yeeted out. It'd be useless if they can't actually recycle the AI (thus making them worse than IRL humans cuz the entire point of AI is that they can be reused infinitely in massive amounts of combat or industrial platforms etc. Thus I'd doubt gobmints would actually be willing to use them over IRL soldiers, if the benefits aren't huge af enough). Like, drones ALREADY EXIST, and are human operated remotely from some base, anyway. Why not just focus on advancing robots that can be remotely controlled by humans like they do w/ drones, via the telemetry feeds they respond to the terrain etc (like in every advanced enough sci-fi setting, rly. Even Halo's Forerunner Saga shows them mass spamming MILLIONS of drones that are controlled by a single Warrior-Servant solely, which they use to swarm any enemy, in addition to the millions of ground units composed of Warrior-Servants who can fuck shit up via superior raw power from genetic modifications via Mutations etc)?

The character Asuna is soooooo annoying to me. I mean I get it, but no

It would ideally work like how Halo AI work. If you know anything about the Halo universe. Something like the Forerunner Arminger is what I imagine being used.

TGDelta

They do have the capability to move souls like that. That's what the light cube is
