It's a shame they adapted so many chapters (6) and skipped a lot of info, some stuff that was used as foreshadowing was left out, but we will see how it goes next week. Tower of God is sooooo good😤

BTW this series will be very long. The webtoon I heard is at s3 and I heard its nowhere close to finishing the story. Ppl who r big fans of the webtoon said it can have more eps than Bleach and Naruto. And ppl compare the world building of Tower of God to One piece. Supposedly this is the best webtoon out of all of them. Def has potential to become one of the best animes in the future.

FYI they are on the second floor of the tower - the sky is fake. As was implied by the announcer and you’ll learn more this is where “regulars” start their climb. Only irregulars come in through the first floor.

This was fire. Hopefully they make solo leveling into an anime. The manga is really good. Just stopped at chapter 108. Looking forward to y’all reaction to this show.

I'm kinda weirded out they made the Black March a sword and not a needle. I feel like that might be a mistake. Anyway I'm impressed how good this adaptation is otherwise. TOG is one of my favorites easy. They kind of skipped over it in this episode but Headon brings it up: his name, Bahm, means "night". It's also a homophone for chestnut so he jokes that it sounds tasty.

Well in general they called all skinny swords needles, even the green weapon carried by the lizard girl is called a needle but in the anime it's also called a sword. I think whoever did the translations inherently realizes that calling what look to be mystical rapiers "needles" will confuse many english speaking people. I'm actually fine with it and people who have never read the web novel don't really need to know this difference anyways. It's not as if calling them needles gave some kind of better impact on their power. Honestly I think referring to them as swords is more accurate based on the fighting styles people use them as. If they were literally needles then you'd see everyone poke with them, but in reality everyone swings with them so they are definitely more a sword.
