"#05: The Troll's Son" The character's for "troll" are "Battle" and "Demon". They're not calling him a troll at all, bogeyman is probably a better translation in the context of everybody knowing the context of that in John Wick.

old video but i need to shout my revelation into the void; It was heart wrenching when Askeladd beats Thorfinn and then doesn't kill him. This was my second time watching this ep and it really settled on me about how all the Thorfinn wants is to meet his dad again and in Norse beliefs dying in battle would allow him to do exactly that. He wants to be together again so badly that he'd die and give up everything else. This scene was pretty much Askeladd going "You're doing the exact opposite of what your Father would have wanted and you're still too much of a hysteric child to understand that even if I explained it." and it pretty much goes on like that until the end of season 1.
