Narvosa

Lupa repping that plus ultra tee. Probably my favorite design y'all got. You could tell that Askaladd respected Thors beyond belief with just those subtle looks in between the dialogue. I love the characters of this series.

TheToweringOtakunt

I think Askeladd was genuinely serious about that offer to lead them and probably disappointed when he knew Thors was going to turn it down. Of course, with the village on the line, there was no way Thors could have accepted even if he wanted to. An interesting fact about Askeladd is that he's named for this character in Norwegian myth named Askeladden who is usually depicted as the youngest son of the family who nobody expects anything incredible from. Despite these low expectations Askeladden always figured out ways to beat the odds through cleverness and guile. It fits the character of Askeladd well, but I think it's no mistake that he could be mistaken for an older Thorfinn. The foreshadowing is strong with this one.

Dune

The thing i really hated about thorfinn and those other kids was that they were super naive. They were just romanticizing war thinking it would just be so great to be in a real fight where your life is on the line but they didn't really think about what it meant to fight with your life on line. Then you have thorfinn not thinking that as long as he was around he would be a weakness for his father if anything happened and would possibly cause him to get killed and look what happened. And even though I think thors should've killed his men as he was progressing though, you gotta respect him for sticking to his values.

Faebells

Man, knowing the truth now about askeladd now, made this all the worse seeing it again
