Roshi and Sheera: QUEEN OF TEARS next, absolute heat till the end. Would love to see a married couple’s perspective on it. Also thank you for dropping on a night where all hell has broken lose. Kendrick and Drake nuking each other within minutes … much love ❤️

J Man

Moving next!?! With Lupa? Super hero fighting scenes! Disney plus. All the drama!

Jalani Abdul-Aziz

Okay so I’m commenting this 10 mins in and will probably come back to it later. But with the theory of it actually being the mom is still plausible and here’s why I think so: so last episode when the flashback started of the dad finding out his wife killed gang taes mom, it was specifically stated that since his brain tumor was growing he would have memory and mental issues. Also before the dad went to see the mom in the bedroom it looked like he had just gotten a very bad headache or the tumor was acting up. So I believe that the flashback (which was given from the father’s perspective) is actually FALSE. that would be the only way imo that the mom would still be alive.

Shin splits

He was also clearly drinking before he went inside the room so it’s plausible. Also he’s been a thing that’s been shown that ppl can have very selective and inaccurate memories because of their trauma

Epic New

thanks for your reaction ❤️

Jalani Abdul-Aziz

But did she ever say HOW her mom died? I thought all she really knew was that she disappeared because of her dad? I could be wrong though but I don’t remember her really saying how it went down fr

Cinmnapple

Just a theory but they mentioned the dad's brain tumor messed with his memory and recollection so his story could've been off. idk this is crazy

ceci

that scene of sang tae feeding moonyoung while she’s sobbing has been ingrained in my brain forever what a devastating yet heartwarming moment

Thev2g

one thing to note with this show is it has been consistent in how every character has struggled with their memories. as time passes, each memory gets tainted one way or another. Her dad's memories are tainted by the tumor/illness. Sang-tae's recollection of the ice lake incident is altered to be untrue thinking Gang-tae pushed him. Gang-tae's memories are tainted as seen in his memories of his mom, where he only remembered the parts about his mom giving preferential treatment without remembering how good of a mom she was.

Snax

in the defense of plastic surgery, i have seen some insane transformations. shaving jaws, replacement teeth, eyes, cheek enhancements, ear elongation, forehead reduction.....i mean, it's insane what can happen under the knife. that being said, i think it's kinda the weakest point in the story. these last few episodes are honestly some of the weaker ones. the last one being the weakest. but overall the show is still one of the better kdramas out there.

Sayyongtou

most asians look way younger then they really r. she being 60 is very believable.

Thev2g

i hope if this goes on youtube, the baek hee sung "eomma" gets edited into the part where he's reading the book

Epic New

honestly, she looks old to me i mean Asians look at Asians differently i guess

Seen this series so many times I can’t even count but I love watching the reactions to get different pov’s and I absolutely love watching the both of yours. It’s so much more than a kdrama. It really open ppls hearts and mind and kind of therapeutic in a sense. It teaches us as an audience that it is really ok, not to be ok. There’s a cmt on here from Jalani below and I agree 100%. My dad recently got sick and it has affected w/ his brain where he now has issues w/ memory. He would bring random things up but would have a whole different scenario in his mind from what actually happened. Maybe Ko Moon-Young’s father was explaining what happened truthfully to a certain extent. Ppl who have brain tumors, dementia & so on do start to go off into their own world and believe what they wanna see or hear for their selves. I had the same thoughts when I watched the show for the 1st time, like damn. That plastic surgeon sure did put in work cause s/he made head nurse unrecognizable. Then I thought about mask girl and how her looks transformed. It’s crazy what cosmetics surgery can do for you or to you, even makeup can create a new image. example Khloe Kadashian got a whole new face. Lil Kim don’t look like how she once did. All that Botox & stuff be having ppl looking like they 25 when they’re 50. Plus us Asians dont be looking our age. Some ppl think im a whole 10 yrs younger & don’t believe me when I say I hit 40. I be like sure am & proud. Sorry for the long ass cmt but one last thing. Every one gotta give these actors/actresses their flowers!!! American tv ain’t got shit on kdrama. These talented ass actors/actresses be portraying their characters on screen full heartedly & having you in your feels. You can really feel every emotion they put out there like they’re really going through it you forget their acting. Im so use to seeing Oh Jung-se as Sangtae, now that im watching him in a different drama, it feels kind of weird cause i keep thinking of him as an autistic man. The cast for this series all came through & did not disappoint. Such amazing performances from every single body.

Chelle

that scene where Sang-tae is feeding Moon-young has gotta be one of my favorites I’ve seen in a kdrama, everything behind it just makes it hit so hard and the acting is S tier for sure. Love it all. Seo Yea-ji (Moon-young’s actress) this entire ep just knocked it out of the park in the acting department lol, her acting has always been perfect but here it really shined also I gotta admit, I’m glad I don’t watch these types of shows with other people the first time around, having someone like Sheera laughing next to me would totally kill any emotional reaction I’d have 😂

Epic New

oh by the way the story that dad told about she being thrown in bag and all is not true because his memory is messed up so as viewers we dont really know what happened but we do know he tried to kill her so ya that explains it.

Fiona

This is my first time rewatching this show and so I was able to notice the whole time the head nurse would say and do stuff that was like wow yeah they made it just the right amount of subtle

J Man

Ey, Crash Landing on You next?!?

Hanifa Abdikadir

Brooo sheera got me dying this reaction 😭

Rosie

ive seen the theories that its his brain tumour messing with his memories that made the flashback so dramatic but then it would also have to mean munyeong didnt really see her mum crack her head open on the stairwell and it was some exaggerated manifestation of guilt from the father. quite a reach to me but is the only way that plot hole can be filled imo

Chelle

wasn’t the blood stain still there? Moon-young even talked about it earlier (with the patient that acted like her mother). I’m pretty sure that part did happen. Those injuries aren’t always fatal so it’s not really that unbelievable

Wafaa

Moving needs to be next, we need some action

Kell

Next kdrama gotta be Vincenzo give y’all a slight break from all the sad

Sayyongtou

Are yall gonna ever watch shield hero season 3?

Tiena

Why isn’t the link working for me

Tiena

Nevermind..it works fine thru the app🥰🥰

Dyastro

I really hope you guys watch Unnatural (a jdrama). It's about a bunch of coroners, so lots of mysteries and twists on how the person died, with an overarching main mystery plot.

Lily Rose

react to school spirits

Lily Rose

school spirits is also a mystery about death lol but its not a jdrama

Comet

Next k drama D.P. It’s such a great k-drama

Jalan

LisMM

Me scrolling down to find comments about the actual episode : 😶

Teresa

Kdrama to react to Moving and Lawless Lawyer

beannieswife

moving is one of the best series from 2023 imo! hope they can add it to the poll at least

beannieswife

we're so close to the end😭 i highly recommend "moving" for your next watch, it's the most expensive kdrama of all time and most of the budget went to the cast, in my opinion, one of the best casts (if not the best) of all time too!!

lewthefoo2

rick and morty?

AnnaSama

Her mom would be around 50. Dad would be over 60, but looked even older because premature aging is common with dementia.

varus ez

Next kdrama Marry My Husband ???

J Man

Full Disney budget. Fried Chicken dad is best dad. Also assassin mommy. Such a good superhero series

Manav Sekhon

Next drama 18 again if possible

sam

i am once again begging for a D.P. reaction, i think you guys would like it alot!!

beannieswife

fried chicken dad was my favorite character!! the actor who played his character did an incredible job, he became one of my favorite actors after moving

Kell

Ok either Vincenzo or D.P gotta be next🤞🏾🤞🏾

gyrorella

Queen of Tears or D.P. for the next poll please!

Marlia

Moving next!

envy

54:30 that scene has always been one of the saddest for me, and now y’all got me here laughin 😭😭

Sasha

"This woman is supposed to be 67 years old" lmao Roshi

Snax

yall, my eyes hurt. can we take a break from mentally emotional dramas and just watch something fun pls?

Sasha

What kdrama has 1 track?

Kelton Jones

yall should do Dead boy detectives

halsa

is topboy or the gentleman starting this week 🥲

ceci

for the next one, i hope y’all would bring back the poll idea from last summer when you included titles yall were interested in instead of just going by suggestions. people are gonna recommend the same 3 kdramas and call it a day, that’s why all these reaction channels look identical… yall should just go through a few titles from a site like viki (more variety than netflix) and pick out the ones with a premise that’s most interesting to you and we vote for which one out of those picks we want to watch the most. that way we get to also watch something new together if we haven’t already :) (but if that’s too much work i understand)

stupeyca

Have you watched "Marry My Husband"? That one is really good.

Yoruka

i do agree the mother plot line is pretty goofy, but the only thing that allows me to suspend my disbelief is that the Father has been shown to not be a reliable source of information throughout the series. They also tell us during that flashback of him "killing" the mom that he is suffering from a mental issue that could also be something that affected his recollection of how the actual deed went down.
