It makes a lot more sense for a comic since that's a very small team or even one person making it, but for something that is such a huge draw to Amazon Prime, I don't love the excuse, especially after they fucked us with the unskippable ads without paying more each month. If you're gonna do that to me. HIRE MORE ANIMATORS. PUT TWICE AS MANY PEOPLE ON THIS SHOW. I'm not convinced at all that there isn't a lot more money to be made here if they just actually invested what the popularity of this show deserves. There is no way there is a significant number of people working on this given how long it's been in between seasons. It's got to be a medium or even small production team, as far as animation goes. This is where I think people get it twisted, you shouldn't be blaming the animators. Blame the STUDIOS for not investing properly into animation like they do for live action. We've seen what happens when they do.

Bro I get that she was outta pocket in that one episode on the campus last season but you have to understand that she isn't a person, she is a character, written with intention. They are trying to point out that just because two people have good intentions and want to make a relationship work, doesn't mean it should continue. They clearly regret how they wrote Amber towards the end of Season 1 and tried to course correct to get the actual messaging behind the character out in this episode, which is that some things transcend love or devotion. She isn't complaining, she's lamenting how sad the situation is. It's no one's fault that they shouldn't be together, they just shouldn't. If you can isolate your personal feelings about Amber for a second, that is a really sad and tragic kind of break-up, where both people still love each other and never even really got to give things a good try because of circumstances. And Amber repeatedly says that she knows she can't be selfish, she knows she can't ask Mark to stop, but that doesn't take away her feelings of loneliness. And the idea that someone is just expected to sit home and take that isn't realistic, and Mark sees through his mother how that can affect someone long term. I think this is why a lot of people can't survive a long-term long distance relationship. Anyways, that's just my thoughts on their relationship. It dragged a bit and it stumbled for sure, but I still like what they were going for.

Just to clarify, no Allen wasn't given viltrumite genes, not that was mentioned in the show anyway, in his backstory they said he was a failed experiment to create a super soldier, failed or so they thought but we found out he gets stronger when he has a near death battle, unless he was given those genes when he was born no he doesn't have viltrumite genes

Bro i love the Viltrumites and the way they do things and are used. Its not an original concept or anything to have “super powerful conquerer race” but i just like that its kept so simple yet so terrifying. Their moveset is literally they can fly and have super strong bodies….thats it. Its not Kryptonians or Saiyans or even the Amazons. Honestly, I'd probably be for Viltrumites taking over the planet. Enslavement is a point of view that is seen differently by everyone in the modern world. Literally people today consider how we live now as slavery given how garbage we're paid compared to how much time we have to work to live, how little access we have to healthcare and the like. Viltrum wants to take over and make things better, but there's obvious trade offs. These guys probably don't know how to RELAX at all. They're overly strict to the point of it being scary. They're a military race basically and don't know what fun is which is why they find pleasure in killing. That's literally the only form of fun they figured out for themselves. And also they have the belief of killing the useless and we know we got a lot of useless humans on the planet. They'll kill anyone if they are invalids, have mental disability, physical defects of the such. Though they did say they have technology to upgrade a humans health so maybe they can fix that. But honestly as good as the advertising sounds because what she said about humanity is very true, we need to SEE a planet ruled by Viltrum because as much as I want the shitty things on our planet fixed, I dunno if the conditions of what they say they'll do for us will be comfortable.

I think they did a good job this episode showing that Anissa does in fact have a sense of justice that's a bit different from other Viltrumites. That whole fight with Mark, she beat the dog shit out of him without hurting a single bystander, even when she made that crater with his spine 💀💀. She also didn't kill anyone to try and sway him, when she very easily could have. This version is already better so far, even tho the real know what's to come

Something to consider, Nolan is considered one of Viltrum's greatest warriors. He could have run the Guardians fade with no injuries in episode 1 but had to take a beating to make it believable that they were all attacked. He could have done the same to Mark but he was trying to make him understand and believe in what he was doing. Anissa had no reason to hold back as much. But take note she made sure that no humans were harmed in her education class. I like this version of her much better than the comic book version. Same thing with the Amber/Mark breakup. It's done much better in the show imho.

Also Yall Cecile said in the first season it’s a teleportation device not a hologram, there’s evidence of this being the truth too. Towards the end of the first season when Cecile confronted Omni man in person, if you pay close attention (it’s a really minor detail) when Omni man blitzes Cecil the final time, like where he fought the reanimen, right before Cecile goes back to HQ ,Omni-man manages to grab and cut his tie and almost kills Cecile with the sheer velocity he was moving at which was also why Cecile flew back and when he landed back in HQ it was with only half of a smoking tie. He’s been teleporting to these locations not using a hologram, it’s also why he was scared Omni-man tried to kill him immediately upon teleporting to his location to stall him

As for Allen, to clear up he didn’t get given viltrumites DNA essentially he has DBZ Saiyan's Zenkai Boost where he gets exponentially stronger after every near-death experience. I've watched this episode prolly 30 times, it feels like (1st watch + 1 million reactions) and I'm JUST now noticing (in another reaction video) That SHRINKING RAE... Never unshrunk back to normal. I know all her bones were broken, but if you notice how small the bed actually is, THEN notice how little of it she actually takes up, you'll see she might still be the same size as when she crawled out of homies mouth... Which is AWFUL. Nobody watches the Halo TV series, but a similar thing took a Spartan out of commission. She was never able to fight again, but she was at least able to find peace in life beyond being a soldier. I pray for the same for Rae (or Ray, whatever lol)
